Disgusting and unsafe. Flooding ruined damaged our property.

This terrible property flooded in the basement causing damage to our clothes, luggage and personal electronics (eg. phones). The roof leaked causing further water damage on the top floor. This caused extremely unsafe conditions. Twice people fell due to wet floors. There are more issues with this property than I care to list. I have included some examples below. To sum it up, don't book it at any cost. The place is run down and very poorly maintained. Taps are falling apart, pipes are leaking. Lights were not working (both ceiling and lamps). Blinds were missing sections. There were no instructions on how to use any of the household electronics. The pool table is ripped and uneven. The house smells of dank and mould. Beds are not covered with proper fitted sheets or donna covers. It's dirty and overrun with cockroaches.

Great potential, but needs some care

We were so excited to stay here, but very disappointed in the house. The layout, furniture and decor had so much potential to be a really upscale home, but it felt like the property had fallen into disrepair. The house was infested with roaches, and there were problems with most aspects of the house (dishwasher didn’t work and had moldy dishes, one of the bed frames was broken , one toilet didn’t work, couldn’t use the downstairs bathroom b/c the lights didn’t work, musty smell downstairs, dryer didn’t work, patio furniture was dirty, landscaping overgrown, basic supplies like toilet paper were missing, etc. etc.). The owner responded when we reached out and sent someone over to help with a few of the problems, but it was too much. The owner also worked with us for early check in, which was appreciated. Parking was easy on the street and the location was fantastic, just a short walk to the ferry into Sydney. This place has a ton of potential, could be great with some additional attention and dealing with the bug situation.
