It was nice but very uncomfortable bed. The owner came to mow half the yard while we were there and then fell asleep in his pickup. Him and another guy were in and out of the yard from 10am till well after 3pm. We typically get the place to ourselves so this was a little uncomfortable when I was trying to shower with no curtains in the bathroom or anywhere in the house. We also were told there a was a lake to sit by. When we tried to go to the dock it was attached to a small cabin a family was staying at that also belongs to the same owner. We just didn't feel comfortable going onto the dock so never got to sit at the lake. It was disappointing and I will not come back to this property. I understand this is his property but we paid 600 for two nights to have alone time and this was not the place to do that.

Mosquitoes, ants, no privacy

When we got to the property the house was full of mosquitoes, I’m not talking a few, it was full, we sat and were killing mosquitoes for hours! The master bathroom has big black ants! So it’s obvious they are coming through a hole somewhere! There was no privacy at all, there is a cabin on each side of you, you can’t walk to the lake because there’s a cabin below! The cupboards are fridge were full of food, I emailed the house contact and never got a response, we didn’t know if someone was going to show up or not!! Absolutely much better places to stay!
