Enjoy a peaceful morning coffee by the water, swimming and evening campfires at his newly renovated cottage located on the shore of Manitoulin Island. Wood fired Sauna to cleanse your body and an indoor hot tube to soak away your worries. 3 spacious bedrooms to rest in and an open concept living room, dinning room and kitchen . Located 10 minutes from Kagawong's treasure Bridal Veil Falls and 20 minutes from Cup and Saucer hiking trail. Enjoy all that nature has to offer at this open concept beautiful cottage.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Take garbage and recycling out to cans located in brown shed left side of garage.
In winter set heat to 12 Celsius on convection heaters located in each room. In summer please to upstairs Air conditioning off.
Please place wooden stopper for patio door on lower level.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The location of the house was beautiful and tranquil. The house is very well equipped and everything was catered for. The rooms are all spacious and well designed/ furnished. Communication with Rick was friendly and easy. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved this place. The house was as advertised, clean and well stocked; our dog was welcome. But the things I loved the most were the things you can't really put a pricetag on. A pink full moon rising over the water, warblers galore, mergansers dancing across the water, and of course bald eagles. We did a little exploring but honestly could have spent our whole time at the cottage. We'll be back.

The location was stunning and the cottage was beautiful. Everything was clean and it was well stocked. The host was responsive and everything was ready for us when we arrived. Highly recommend this property and location.

Great base for day trips out into the north channel and island to explore and come back to relax by fire overlooking the bay.

This place was quite remote but many places on the island are. This time of year many places are closed. We brought most of our own food and condiments. The kitchen was well stocked. The water was drinkable. They had a gas bbq.There was a portable hot tub and sauna (which we did not use).There was no beach and we didn’t go in the water. It was quite rocky. We did sit down near the water. It was so peaceful and relaxing.We did take in the dinner cruise out of Little Current on the Friday night. It is worth taking in.

This cottage is even more beautiful in person! The home was spotless and well stocked, it felt like coming home rather than arriving at a rental property. Communication with Richard was very easy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, the beds and towels were clean. This is a wonderful rental cottage for anyone visiting the island!

Beautiful

Beautiful location. The sunrise was spectacular as it sparkled off the water. I felt the stress leave my body. My granddaughter thought it was fun to explore the beach area. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Went too fast.

Everything you would want and more

From the view from the house to the beautiful sunrises, everything exceeded expectations. The welcome package was a lovely touch, the kitchen was fantastic with everything you would need, supplied. We all love the bathroom! The living room was so comfortable, it might have been easy to just stay there but we had a beautiful island to explore. Thank you for such a lovely venue to enjoy our time on Manitoulin, we hope to return next year
