Loved that the home was very clean. It's a comfortable place to relax in. Lots of movies to choose from. We loved the back patio. We spent most of our time there. Would recommend this lovely home. The host was amazing and answered all my questions is a timely matter.
a pleasant stay in this cozy place we can call a home away from home. The host was so helpful enough to make our stay comfortable. Easy to find the place and parking was right next to the cabin. We will surely comeback and tell our friends about our stay.
We stayed here for a weekend away with some girlfriends. The place was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The host was excellent in her communication with me and went over and above for our stay. We would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back!
The just was so kind na understanding . Answering all of our questions ! Will defiantly recommend to others in the future ! Place was comfortable and amazing !
We booked a little, two night fishing trip in West Cove. Myself, my 7 year old son, his uncle and his grandpa stayed here. It was a very lovely home and bigger than I anticipated. There was so much space! It was clean and cozy with lots of outdoor seating in both the front and back of the house. We all kept saying what a great this place was for an escape from the city. Only 45min from St.Albert. We were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend.

We didn't know what to expect. We thought this was a one floor bungalow but were pleasantly surprised to see that it was 2 floors. The master bedroom and bathroom is on the 2nd floor,. It's a very big place, bigger than we imagined! The front has a nice area with a firepit and 4 chairs. The backyard has a beautiful deck with a bbq, a table and chairs. There are 2 full bathrooms, 1 master bedroom with a small kid's bed next to the queen sized bed, and 1 kids room with a bunk bed. There is a futon that can sleep an extra person. And 2 couches in the living room. The hostess, Shannon was sweet, she left us cookies as a welcome gift. My spouse and son loved that! The fridge and freezer are empty but there is ketchup, mustard, syrup, relish in the fridge. There are lots of pots and pans, dishes, glasses, aluminum foil, saran wrap, ziplock bags, a dishwasher, a blender, a toaster, you're about 5 mins away from the lake. The lake is quite low, we heard it's because beavers built a beaver dam and the water is about 18 inches lower than normal. Please note, there is no bidet. We were excited and looked for one but it was just in the template and they forgot to remove it. Besides that, if you like lake life, the outdoors and being away from the City, then this is the place for you. And this place is very very clean.

About the host
Hosted by Shannon Fluker
My husband and I both grew up on farms, but always wanted a lake property to enjoy. In 2019 this dream came true, and we were able to purchase our cabin in the Summer Village of West Cove. We are both still working full-time, and thought that opening up this beautiful property to renters, would be a way to let other people enjoy the cabin and the area.
Why they chose this property
We chose this area because it is only a short drive from surrounding communities, and we loved the look and feel of the small quaint Summer Village and all that it has to offer right out your back door; boating, fishing, kayaking, paddleboard, baseball, quad and sled trails.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique, in that is is one of the only properties in West Cove that does not have adjacent occupied properties on any side. It has a green space down to the lake on the East, road on the west and south, and a vacant lot with trees on the South. We love the business of the road in front, and often sit on the front deck to relax and chat with people going by.
