Cabin in Binna Burra Beechmont, in Lamington National Park.
Koalas, pademelons, birds, an abundance of wildlife amongst a beautiful rainforest setting with glimpses of the Gold Coast from the deck. This Kwaint little Kabin is made from large slabs of Tallowwood and is reminiscent of the cabins at Binna Burra Lodge which were all sadly lost in the 2019 fires. A five minute drive to Binna Burra where there are plenty of wonderful walking tracks and a tea house with spectacular views.

I messaged a list of everything we were disappointed in and had no response from the owner. Be aware- doors don’t look and sheer curtains and people wander around the property.
Lovely cabin, the host was lovely and always quickly responded. We enjoyed our stay.

The beds were comfy and there were plenty of warm blankets and pillows. There were a few big safety concerns as we had young children, the banister and some floorboards on the deck were not secure. The single beds were in a loft with the railings not up to standard. There were toys which the kids loved and plenty of dishes, cups and cutlery. Would have loved a large sharp knife, and some kitchen staples like salt and pepper, tea, coffee and sugar. Surprised to find a full size fridge as we could only see a mini fridge in the photos so took an Esky. There was not a large yard or outdoor space and the neighbors were very close, visible through the windows between the cabin and the view. With a few safety updates this could be a nice stay for 6 years old or older.

We loved the rustic quirky cabin. However, the broken sofa, damaged deck stairs, unsecured deck door, unmade bed in bedroom, dust and inadequate heating, plus close neighbours, give this property a low rating from us.
