We had a really lovely family break at Lark Rise. It has a scenic outlook and it was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast... but close enough to easily visit some of the attractions. A highlight for my kids was feeding Jackie's goats.
We had a great 6 week stay at Lark Rise and would have liked to stay longer. The house is in a great quiet place and is well maintained, very clean and had everything we needed.Jackie and Paul are warm, welcoming and sweet people. They do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible.I would highly recommend this stay!
Lovely secluded peaceful location and great home from home
Enjoyed our stay at Lark Rise, Jackie is very welcoming and friendly providing everything you need. If we’re in the area, we’d stay again. Thanks for a lovely 8 day break
We had a two week stay at Lark Rise. The accommodation met our needs, that being a family of 5 and a small dog. It was clean and functional. The location is handy to shops and tourist locations north, south, east & west. The hosts are friendly and easy to talk too. We have no complaints about our stay and would consider staying again. Thank you Jackie and Paul for a pleasant stay.
Clean and quiet place with pretty much all the necessary amenities to enjoy a stay in the area, doing nearby hikes and other activities and relax at the end of the day
It was exactly what we needed for our stay with our furbabies - one of which was recovering from surgery. We couldn't fault the place. Totally recommend.
Well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge/dining, welcoming host.
Would have liked better choice of pillows & a top sheet on beds as doonas too heavy were our only wishes.
We stayed at Lark Rise for 3 nights and bought our 2 beagles with us, they loved the little fenced paddock in front of the cottage and sitting on the balcony listening to the birds and wildlife. The property was well maintained and comfortable we had a very enjoyable stay
Jackie was a pleasant host who accommodated my family and my little cat 'Gatto' at short notice. She was kind and accomodating towards our little Familiar.
Thanks again Jackie.
Second time we stayed at Lark Rise and it is a very comfortable, enjoyable, and quiet house to spend a few days in. Jackie and Paul are great hosts and very accommodating. Highly recommend
Absolutely wonderful. House was comfortable and warm. Everything we needed was at our fingertips Jackie had put a lot of thought into making sure our stay was perfect. We loved spending time on the deck and the bird life was amazing. Even the family dog was spoilt treats on our arrival and great fenced in paddock for off lead play. Thank you Jackie and Paul for making our stay special ❤️
We had a lovely stay at Lark Rise and only wish it could have been longer. Jackie was there to meet me and explain things and was available if we needed anything. Such a beautiful quiet bush setting with birds, wallabies and goats. The accomodation had everything we needed and was very comfortable with a highlight being the deck overlooking nature. Highly recommend
House was great. Beds very comfortable and everything was clean. Jackie was a pleasure to deal with! Their house is right there but hosts were never intrusive! If you want to feel like you’re in the country but only 10minutes to everything then this is the place! Thanks
House is roomy with well equipped kitchen, laundry & bathroom.
Nice to be greeted by Jackie & shown around our accommodation.
Nice leafy outlook with plenty of outside verandah area.
The five of us enjoyed our 2 night stay.
Thank you.
Jackie and Paul were so accommodating, especially looking out for our two dachshunds. Nothing was too much trouble.
A great place, very dog friendly, paddock for the dogs to run around and all the ammenities we could need. Definitely recommend staying here.
Lark rise was a perfectly maintained, great house for a family stay. It sits within a beautiful site & its elevation gives a fantastic view across the valley & creek below
Such a restful experience & with everything provided we could possibly need
Communication was a breeze. Our early arrival easily dealt with & our first night embarrassing inability to get the oven working solved with an immediate visit to advise
Thankyou!
I absolutely loved my stay at Lark Rise. The place was so lovely and clean, the beds super comfy and the kitchen well stocked. What I loved most was sitting out on the large balcony listening to the birds, so relaxing. The paddock was fantastic for my greyhound to zoom around in. Lark Rise is also located close to shops and cafes. Jackie and Paul were fantastic hosts, going out of their way to make sure my holiday was perfect. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.
