Our second time staying in this house. Great place for our family of four adults. The community, distance to beach access, and proximity to restaurants are all perfect for our approach to beach vacations. Our biggest decision each day is, "beach first or pool first?". This place fits that vibe with a practical kitchen and enough room for the family to spread out and spaces to come back together. Love the three porches! Plus this time - found public pickle ball courts with active Open Play in the mornings. There is also an indoor facility (near the public courts) which I did not try.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback and for choosing to stay here again. It is wonderful to hear that the home, location, and layout work so well for your family’s beach routine. We are glad the porches and practical spaces gave you room to relax together and apart. It is also great to know you enjoyed the nearby pickleball options during your stay.

Amazing Stay!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was the perfect distance to the beach and had a pool right outside the front door. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

Great Place in Great Location

Second time in this community and it is perfect for our family: close to beach access, close to restaurants, two pools and family friendly atmosphere. Lazy Daze is cozy with a well appointed kitchen for meal prep and three porch/balcony areas for the family to spread out.

Wonderful house and neighborhood. Clean and well stocked. VERY pleasant. I enjoyed the experience. Very convenient to shops and to the beach. Bikes provided were all in working order (though actually we only used 3 of the 4). Perfect situation for staying multiple days at the beach. I would stay again.Only two MINOR complaints:1) Previous renter left massively overfull trash bin with exposed food discards that was very smelly (rank), affecting anyone walking by to access bikes or back yard. Once I noticed, I called the host. To their CREDIT, they responded extremely quickly & removed the top trash offsite so the bin would close and no longer smell.2) There was no walk-through with the host on arrival, so I stressed a little after noticing a previous renter (or owner?) had left a damaged glass tabletop. It did not impact my stay, however. I simply worried I might be blamed, so I mentioned it immediately by email.A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE OVERALL.

Thank you very much for sharing such positive feedback about your stay and the home. We’re glad you found the house comfortable, well stocked, and convenient for enjoying the beach and nearby shops. We’re sorry about the overfull trash bin and the smell you encountered, and we will look into how this is handled between guests. We also regret the stress caused by the existing damage to the glass tabletop and will review our arrival process to reduce this kind of concern. We truly appreciate that you would stay again and that your overall experience was very positive.

Beautiful beach house!

Amazing little hidden gem! So happy we stumbled upon this place through VRBO! It was such a wonderful breath of fresh air! Home is within walking distance of the beach and has a nice pool right across the street. Rooms are large and bathrooms are nice. I especially loved the kitchen and the porches! Thanks again for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

My thoughts.

Pool is very small for the size of the property and the definition of a short walk to the beach is a stretch.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with this property. Upon arriving, we discovered what appeared to be black mold in all three bathrooms, including around the air vents and inside the toilets. We notified the host first thing the next morning because we were traveling with a toddler and one of us being pregnant, making this a significant health concern for our family. We were told a maintenance person would come out to address the issue. However, the only thing that appeared to be done was placing a bleach tablet in one of the toilets. We were later told it was “just staining,” but the toilets looked exactly the same after maintenance left, and the black, fuzzy substance remained. Nothing was done about the mold around the air vents. The host also told us they would compensate us for the inconvenience, but we have not received any follow-up or compensation. While the host was initially responsive, the issue was never properly resolved during our stay. I hope these concerns are fully addressed before future guests arrive, especially families with young children or anyone who may have health concerns.

Week with Family

Overall we were very pleased with the rental. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was plenty of seating both inside and out. The location of the pool right across the street was perfect. We loved having the bikes included and rode them daily. We were a little surprised at the length of the walk to the beach access, but it wasn’t bad- especially if we rode bikes. If you have a lot of things to take to the beach or little kids, I’d recommend a wagon or cart or some type. The neighborhood was quiet and very family oriented. The dryer didn’t seem to be working 100%- it didn’t seem to heat up enough to dry items.

Just average

We loved the location of the property. The house wasn't as clean as other places I have stayed. The dryer was rusty on top. The internet never really worked so the TV didn't work, the beds were hard, the toilet seats needed replaced, there were cobwebs in some of the light fixtures, microwave when turned on sounded like a machine gun, the dishwasher when turned on sounded like someone was trying to break out of it. I don't think any of this is really fault of management company. But when they texted me to ask how our stay was going I advised TV not working and they never responded. But we still enjoyed ourselves. I probably wouldn't rent this house again, but would definitely stay in the same neighborhood.

Thank u

We had a great stay, great access and close to the beach. Loved the availability of having bicycles. The only thing I would mention, I would pay extra just to have the convenience of not worrying about small things like salt and pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags etc. Having to worry about bringing all of those little things on vacation can be quite cumbersome. Otherwise great house, clean, spacious perfect for what we need. We’re definitely coming back

Great Vacation House

Had a great vacation at Layze Dazes house. Few items need maintenance, items that need corrected such as GFI electrical circuit in bathrooms and master bath toilet seat that needs replacement. Would be great if rug under dining table didn’t gap and become a tripping hazard. Overall a great vacation home that we will return to next Feburary
