About this property
Gypsy Paradise - kayaks, fishing, fire pit, trampoline!
Amazingly peaceful, set amongst trees and with direct access to the waterfront, this is a relaxing retreat suited for chilling out with friends and family. This is a unique experience with 2 additional Vintage caravans with beds to sleep 6 more in addition to the main house. There is a large entertaining deck with a BBQ, huge grassy backyard, trampoline, jetty, fire pit and access to our kayaks. There’s so much to do, and its all up to you to set your pace.
The space
On the Central Coast just 1.5 hours from Sydney is this relaxing peaceful escape suitable for a few families or a group of friends.
- Large deck overlooking the grassy backyard - a great spot to watch the kids play or bounce on the trampoline
- Private jetty for fishing and launching kayaks
- Fabulous entertaining areas with BBQ, campfire for toasting marshmallows
- Huge grassy backyard to just sit back and take nature in
- short drive to nearby beaches
- shops only minutes away
This place has a truly fascinating history. In addition to the main house, there are 3 hand-made Vintage style caravans on site.
The main house can accommodate 8 guests within 3 bedrooms.
Main bedroom - Double bed plus cot (sleeps 2 adults + infant)
2nd bedroom - Triple bunk plus trundle (sleeps up to 4 - often used as family or kids room)
3rd bedroom - 2 single beds, can be placed side by side to make double (sleeps 2)
The largest (brown) caravan at the front of the property has a double bed and 2 small single beds - so can sleep up to 4 people. It is suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids.
The smallest caravan (green) has 2 single beds in it - please note that these beds are slightly narrower than a standard single bed - see photos.
Bed linen and Towels are provided only for the main house occupants - your guests staying in the caravans must bring their own linen and towels (We provide the pillows with protectors and mattress protectors only). Linen for the caravan beds (doona, fitted sheet, quilt cover and pillow case) can be supplied for $15 per bed made. Please advise us on booking if you would like to take up this option.
The medium caravan (blue) is in the backyard and can be used as a cubby house/chill out area or workspace.
The huge backyard previously hosted an annual gypsy festival to celebrate International Romani day. The backyard is really the highlight - from the moment you step into it you will feel like you have escaped into your own little paradise.
The house itself has recently been renovated, with care taken to retain its gorgeous vintage fixtures and furniture. There are coloured stained glass windows and lighting pendants throughout the house.
This is our family holiday house so we have set it up with everything that you and your family will need to feel comfortable and at home. It’s an absolute paradise for kids with the trampoline, jetty, gypsy cubby house, kayaks and fishing opportunities.
Please note: 2nd bathroom is outside the house

Other things to note
