Very nice neighborhood cold weather so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside….The family Really enjoyed the TV/movie room….
It was a very long, drive and short stay … But we enjoyed our family being together in one house ….
We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was a perfect proximity to the events we needed to go to and to downtown. Very easy check in and host was great with communication. Would recommend staying here and would stay here again :)
Nice house in close proximity to everything around Zalamazoo
The property was centrally located, which made it easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go around town. The house was in great shape, keyless entry meant we didnt have to worry about remembering extra keys to get in and out.
We really liked the alert chimes for the front and back doors so that we knew if/when our kids went outside. The fenced in back yard was a huge blessing since we were travelling with our pups.
The rooms and bathrooms were clean and very well kept, and the kitchen was equipped with everytging we needed to prep and enjoy our meal from home... if necessary.
Kalamazoo is a great little city to visit, and we would definitely stay at this house again.
The property was perfect for friends to stop by before and after the wedding. It was decorated nice and well cleaned . It only has beds for 6 adults, we took our own blow up bed. First impression was bad. bad stain on stairs carpet, trash cans over flowing, yard beautifully landscape but not maintained? Grass was not mowed, and some of the lawn furniture was in pretty bad shape. For a place that sleeps 10, only had one extra roll of toilet paper in the house and only six towels were laid out- everything else was locked up! No batteries in the tv remote, fridge was loaded with stuff from previous guests☹️Just needed some extra TLC in the maintenance dept- host responded but my garbage ended up in the corner of the kitchen for three days? If it sleeps,10 a 12 cup coffee pot would be nice and a Kerwig instead of the expresso machine? These problems did not stop us from having a fabulous weekend with family and friends!

The home is beautiful and is located in a very nice neighborhood. However, my visit was less than perfect. First, the locking mechanism on the front door was malfunctioning when I first arrived (issue resolved fairly quickly by owner remotely). Next, the cleanliness of the home need improving. For example, the coffee maker was left on with old coffee inside, the inside of the oven was dirty, the inside of the refrigerator was not clean, and the backyard lawn had areas covered with animal feces. Lastly, the internet in the home was off for half of my visit which really upset my family and was a major inconvenience.
Overall, the residence did satisfy its purpose, but all of the amenities could not be enjoyed the full length of my family’s trip. I would encourage the owners to invest in DVD players as the majority of people like to watch tv. Although, we understood that the internet outage was beyond the owner’s control, it was still a major inconvenience. Also, it would have been wonderful to have TVs in the bedrooms as well.
We stayed here with a family of 6. It was a clean and very comfortable house in a newer neighborhood. The hosts took extra steps to make us feel very welcomed. We will be back!
Wonderful home with plenty of room and amenities abounded! We were in town to help host a specialty dog show and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was great and the hosts go above and beyond to give guests a warm welcome and many little touches that were so appreciated. Highly recommend!!
The info posted matches our experience. All bedrooms as well as media room are upstairs. Our visit was relaxing. The master bed was heavenly... as we're the sheets.
I enjoyed watching sports in the media room while my wife and sister in law took over the living room. We cooked many meals and found everything we needed. If you are in the area, this is the place to stay...
We went to Kalamazoo for a wedding. We met our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter from California. Our daughter and 2 grandsons accompanied us. The kids loved the bonus room with the theater seating and room to play. The large fenced backyard was great for them to get out and play in the snow. The beds were comfortable and there was a nice air mattress for the kids. The house was perfect for us! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

So glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your kind words and for taking great care of our home.
My family gathered together in Kalamazoo for a grandmother's funeral. Having my family scattered all over the US, it was nice having s place where we could gather before we met up with the rest of the extended family.
This is an older home in a nice clean neighborhood with a lovely tree lined boulevard down the middle of the street.
The house is quite large. Three bedrooms and a large theater/game room. 2.5 bathes. It was large enough for all of us and quite affordable.
I would recommend this home for any group that's needs to be together. It was much nicer than having to stay in a bunch of hotel rooms. I feel lucky that we found it.
The owner contacted me and was very accommodating about getting a pack and play set up for the one year-old. They even got some children's plastic bowls and tinsels, for the baby.
They left a nice note and flowers for my wife who had just lost her mother. Starting here at this VRBO was s GREAT experience.
We had three soccer families spend the weekend for family weekend at WMU! I wish this would have been around the last four years so we could have saved money and split with a couple of other families instead of spending money at hotels. If you are WMU families latch on to this quickly and plan for upcoming weekends in Kalamazoo. We already booked it again for graduation in April! Thank you!!
