Great overall stay the spot is super close to heavenly village and like 5 mins away from the state line where all the casinos are. It’s a great spot to be centralized to everything.

It is a fabulously unique townhome complex, as it is right on the lake, with a beautiful beach, pier, boat buoys, 2 swimming pools, hot tub, firepits, and walking to groceries and dining. There are no other properties like this in South Lake Tahoe, and there will never be another, due to building restrictions around the lake. For future guests, please note that the photos and descriptions within our listing are up to date and accurate. We recommend that guests reach out in advance of their stay if they have any questions about our homes and amenities. Overall good location to lake and stores, casinos. Road traffic was audible but not too bad. Water was turned off due to water main break at facility but was fixed same day. Host was quick to respond with bottled water.

Condo at South Lake Tahoe

The stay was great, everything was as described perfectly. Our dvd player was broken and they provided us a new one within an hour! Communication with the host was excellent! The only bad thing I can say is that the mattress was very hard. Maybe time for an upgrade? Everything else was wonderful! Would stay again!

Location is good except no one states in their review that the unit is approximately 30 feet from the 4 lane main road. I found I believe a few chunks of throw-up on the bedspread which I reported. A few dishes and knives were also dirty.

If you’re looking for somewhere with lake and pool access without breaking the bank this spot is perfect. The beach and beachside pool/hot tub were a short walk and there is an additional pool and hot tub (usually less crowded) right next to the condo at the check in building! The small balcony (no lake view) that is accessed through the bedroom or living area sliding doors is right along the main road so if you’re sensitive to noise this may not be ideal. They did have a sound machine that was very helpful. The condo was well stocked with essentials such as hand and dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, paper towels, makeup cleansing wipes and laundry pods for use in nearby laundry room down the hall. We were pleased to find the unit has 2 large closets and ample hangers which was nice to keep clothes and luggage out of the way. Two kids slept on the pull out couch and no complaints. We would definitely stay in Lakeland village again!

Unit is very clean - good quality bedding. Smells a bit like pot :) so we aired it out throughout the stay. Very small water closet / shower area. Take note if you’re a family of larger people. Staff and communication are awesome. Parking was a challenge during holiday week but we figured it out. We’d stay again!

They knew we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and left a sweet note and a "bubbly" for us! Very thoughtful. The only downside to this charming place was being right by the road. Main street is very active day and night, that gave us an excuse to fall asleep to the "sounds machine". Our upstairs neighbors were extremely loud very early and late during the day, yet we never heard our side neighbors. A little outdated, but really well stock and clean kitchen! I'd book it again.

The unit it self was the right size for my husband, myself and son. The ac was a plus was a bit warm this trip and certainly needed it. The only down side to this rental is how close it is to the street can be very noisy.
