Come, relax in our cottage on the shores of Lake Huron

Enjoy watching some of the best sunsets in the world, from our deck, overlooking Lake Huron! Our cottage is newly renovated with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Large open concept eat-in kitchen and cozy living room with a gas fireplace. There is plenty to explore outside; the property backs onto the community park and features a new playground, basketball net and green space for all your activities. You can also take walk down a sloped path to a private beach.

You are minutes from Goderich, the prettiest town in Canada, and 15 minutes to Bayfield. There are plenty of wineries and breweries, shops and local trails to enjoy in the area.

The view of the sunsets and lake was amazing. The deck was nice and big with lots of seating. The host was fast with returning messages. There was no cable for watching tv and no dishwasher. The beach is very inaccessible and rocky.

Great vacation with family

My family had a wonderful week and the cottage was a perfect size for all of us. My nieces especially loved the pool and close access to the park. We will definitely be back again!

Family Holiday

Amazing sunset view and convenient location to beach and downtown. The house has lots of conveniences and plenty of room for a family of 5 + dog. Would definitely stay again!

Gift for parents

The family gifted this stay to our parents to celebrate multiple milestones. The host was amazing in communication amd accomodating our requests. The grandchildren were together playing at the volleyball area next door and down at the beach. Overall it was a great experience and lasting memories were made. The view of the lake made for great backdrop for family pics.

The cottage was decorated beautifully! We had a view of the lake and the above ground pool was set up, which we loved. The kitchen was stocked super well with supplies. Host really thought of everything! Also she was great to communicate with prior to our stay. The packet of local info was very much appreciated! Our only complaint would be the lack of bedroom storage, especially in two of the rooms. That's a very small issue however. The extra shed was great as we used it to store our bikes. We would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

So sorry for the delay in this feedback. I left a long note at the beautiful property but this email message got buried and just surfaced now. Everything was wonderful - no issues. Lovely home with great amenities. Sharlene was always available when needed. Our grandchildren loved the playground next door. Quiet location with easy 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach. Less than 10 minute drive to Goderich with lots of things to see and do there. Great summer theatre in Blyth and Grand Bend. We hope to return in the future. Thank you so much. Leslie and Jim.

The property had ample space, comfortable beds and everything we needed for our stay, including many indoor and outdoor toys for our kids. I would like to single out the host's communication and help. Toward the end of our stay, the area experienced an outage that left us without power. Sharlene was proactive in keeping us informed and accommodated us with a generator and help with meals. For those wondering -- the property is next to a park and playground with views of the lake. There is access to a small community beach about a five-minute walk down the road.

We had an amazing stay. The pictures do not do the space justice, it was perfect for our week away! The sunsets from the back deck are beautiful, the playground right out back was perfect for our little guy. The area is quiet and friendly. We spent a lot of time in bayfield which was only a ten minute drive from the cottage. Communication with the host was fast and convienent. We felt very relaxed the entire week. The only thing to note, that we didn’t think was an issue but some families may, the walk to the beach from the cottage is a bit of a hike as we learned the steps closest to the beach entrance are not in working order, the beach itself is mostly rocks and not really a lounging beach, but it was perfect for us as we would head down for walks and our little guy liked throwing the rocks into the water. The cottage is perfect for families. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
