Owners live on site in the main house. The rental unit has it's own parking and private entrance. Please note: while the setting is peaceful and immersed in nature, you may occasionally hear children playing or light household noise during the day.

The property is marked as No Kids. What that actually means is not YOUR kids. The host family that lives above the suite has 2 young children and you can hear them at all hours of the day. Otherwise the suite is very clean and the bed is comfortable, both while sleeping in it and while staring at the ceiling at 5AM listening to crying children. Unfortunately, the crying kid is what killed the review for our stay. If we had wanted to listen to crying kids we would have brought our own.

Comfortable Home Base for Ucluelet / Tofino

Stayed here for 4 nights on a first-time visit to Ucluelet & Tofino. The suite is very private and quiet, and a close walk to many trails, and to the restaurants and shops in town. A perfect location in Ucluelet. Sabrina was onsite in the main home, and always very responsive to our messages, including helping us get the temperature perfect in the suite, and providing a toaster. She let us charge our EV with the home's basic outlet, which was a very nice bonus (one less thing to think about)! A little noise travels from the main house, but never at unreasonable hours -- our sleep was always very peaceful. The bathroom felt very luxurious, and was the highlight of the suite for our stay! All in all, a beautiful and simple suite in a great location, with a lot of luxury bonuses.

We are a young french canadian family of 4. We have been living in Ucluelet for the past 8 years. Arnaud is a builder and Sabrina has been managing our vacation rental. The stunning West Coast and the surf stole our heart! Arnaud and Sabrina first built a small water cottage called Le Chalet Waterfront Retreat in 2018. As our family grew, we needed more space so we designed and built our dream home in the rainforest in 2023. We are delighted to share our house with you!
