About this property

Original beach house full of character, relax amongst the trees

This family beach house is one of the originals. Full of character and good times. Open plan holiday living with lots of places to relax and put your feet up. The deck wraps around the house and positions you amongst the trees. Listen to the birds as you read your book or sip your drink in the sun. It's clever and efficient layout, has the main bedroom separated by the bathroom/laundry at the back. Enjoy the breeze through the house in summer or the wood burner in winter, and have a dig in the records to find an old fav. It's a 20 minute walk to the beach, or 3 minutes in the car. And a 10 minute walk down to the playground, jetty and boat ramp.
Please note - we do not have air conditioning in the house.

Such a perfect peaceful weekend

This was a perfect getaway. The house is so comfortable and homely - clearly a lot of love put into it. It's clean, spacious and bright with windows around the entire house. It's surrounded by large trees and you can hear the ocean not far away. We loved lighting the fire every day or sitting on the back deck listening to the birds. The beach is close and was great for walking and swimming. But honestly even if you didn't feel like doing much, just playing board games beside the fire was excellent. Can highly recommend and will definitely return!
