Was so lovely to host you and your friends Sonia. Agree, Mister Brooks is pretty special and the location at the heart of Newcastle is unbeatable.
Thank you so much for staying with us and telling your friends and family about us. :)
We came to Mr. Brooks on Brown for a girls’ weekend. There were five of us and one of the reasons we chose this beautiful house is because we could each have our own bedroom with a king size bed. All of us agreed the beds were extremely comfortable, as were the pillows, which is not always the case. The house is split into three levels with bedrooms, bathroom and laundry on the entry level; living areas and kitchen on the next level and master bedroom/ensuite; two other bedrooms and a bathroom on the top level - so there are quite a few stairs. The kitchen is extremely large as it also doubles as the dining room and is equipped with an abundance of crockery, cutlery and utensils. There is an outside sitting area off the kitchen just perfect for morning coffees or afternoon drinks! Only one of us used the plunge pool but I imagine it would be very popular in summer!Special mention goes to Sheriden who is the most prompt communicator with whom I’ve ever dealt. She was also supremely helpful with suggestions for what to do and where to eat. I cannot thank nor recommend her, highly enough. Within walking distance of cafés, restaurants and shops, the house is in a superb location but a warning that it is about half-way up a VERY steep street so you need to take this into consideration if you have any mobility issues but the parking area for cars in front of the house is flat.We could not have picked a better venue from which to explore and in which to relax!
We’ve stayed at over 100 home rentals, 10 on this trip alone. The 10 days we spent in this house was definitely the best. It’s a huge, beautiful home. Plenty of private space for everyone and amazing communal space. The little things like extra, silverware, towels, bedding… Everything was extra kind.
The host was an amazing communicator, really only Minutes between any request and their response.
Being able to walk from the home down the street to all of the shops and cafés and restaurants was such a plus.
Such an amazing stay!
