Property is clean, beds are fairly comfortable. The master shower and sink never had hot water. To some of us the house smelt like mothballs. Would stay again
Overall we had a great stay. For us the location was perfect. It’s a very unassuming property from the outside, but inside is everything you could want and more. Very spacious, our group of 6 people (4 adults and 2 teens) had more than enough room to hang and not be on top of each other. Would definitely stay here again. Only minor issue is there is no oven only a cooktop. So if you’re planning to bake while there, you can’t.

Clean and nice Property
Inside the property was very nice and clean and well equipped and enough space. There was no oven in the kitchen or any BBQ facility too. Outside of the property looks like a storage. Outside photos about the property no accurate.
Its location is great. You have many thing to do in the local area and New Orleans is just down the road. It is very spacious. Below is why I rated 4 star
CONS: This place does not have an oven just stove top.
Make sure to call your host 5 days in advance and have all moth balls removed. We all got headaches the first day and was removing bags of moth balls. We got most out and were to tolerate the smell our last two days

Under renovation. Inside was clean and well appointed. Horrible odor of moth balls which
Hit you in the face when you opened the front door. There was a lot of construction debris and the back yard was hardly a patio. Most off putting was the large number of signs posted in the house threatening “charges” for infractions.
We vacation frequently and are respectful of other people’s property. The host was
Courteous and did call to ask if we were comfortable. I don’t think we would go back.

However, guests are welcome to access the backyard for activities like fishing.- We understand the mothball odor was unpleasant, and we will remove them from the closets to improve the guest experience.- The indoor signs are intended to provide quick references to the house rules.
