Our host was fanatic, she gave us a good sense of what was in the area to see. Which was quite a lot. This area is rich with history of the early 1900's shale mining operations. The scenery is truly amazing. It was great for us as Canadian to see some of Australia's wildlife from sitting on the deck having our morning coffee. We wish we would have staying longer in this area.

Dawn and Terry are really energetic tourists who want to see as much of our beautiful country as they can. Best wishes for the rest of their holiday.
Beautiful Tiny House in a gorgeous valley! This Tiny House is just amazing! Very clean, completely off-grid and equipped with all you need. Very comfortable for two people. The host Olwyn was great and friendly and offered a lot of useful info about the area. The area is amazing with plenty of walks and bike tracks to explore.A perfect place for a getaway to disconnect. Highly recommended!
What a stay! Olwyn met us to guide us to the property and welcomed us warmly with great information for our stay. The tiny house was perfect for our stay. Clean, well appointed and with a gorgeous setting in the valley. Loads of firewood for the fire, starry nights and peace and tranquility in the valley hit the spot for us. The Glow worm tunnel walk was amazing! Thanks Olwyn for a great weekend away in the beautiful Wolgan valley.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Relaxing by the campfire and bush walking. Tiny house has everything you need.
My partner and I had an amazing get away for the Easter long weekend. Olwyn and Ross were excellent hosts and added lovely touches to the tiny home. The view was incredible and the location was peaceful, tucked away from external traffic. There were plenty of hikes in close proximity (the Glow Worm tunnel is definitely worth a visit) and the area was lovely to drive around. We look forward to coming back for a longer visit next time!
We spent an amazing, restful weekend in a splendid a decor.
Olwyn and Ross were perfect hosts, happy to guide you to all the surrounding adventures if you wish to.
It is the perfect tiny home if you want confort away from the city buzz.
Highly recommend !
Everything was actually perfect.
The hosts went out of their way to ensure my wife and I were comfortable, knew where we were in the valley and what she thought we would enjoy. The accomodation was spotless and very comfortable, and we really loved the fire pit. The view however was the showstopper, the accomodation is positioned right in the middle of wolgan valley and the tiny home has panoramic views of the valley. Quintessential Australiana, there is a reason emirates has a resort there too. Would love to revisit again in summer. One of the best weekend holidays I've ever had.
Perfect location to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy life that majority of the world lives in these days. The loudest noise you hear is probably your partner snoring next to you and you’re greeted to views of endless Valleys and wildlife. The Glow Worm Caves are walking distance and also something to add on your weekend itinerary!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Winchester. Olwyn is a warm and thoughtful host, and incredibly accommodating of our late arrival. The property is truly something special — surrounded by nature and teeming with wildlife. There’s a peaceful, grounding energy to the place that made it hard to leave. We spent most of our time simply enjoying the view, though Olwyn did tell us about the nearby Glow Worm tunnel, which sounded magical. We didn’t make it out there this time — but it’s just another reason to return. It was one of those experiences where words don’t quite do it justice… you had to be there.
It's a tiny house with an unbelievable view, with no one around. It's the perfect place to escape the city and find peace. You need a 4WD to get there, but thanks to Olwyn and her husband's kind escort, we arrived safely. Not only that, they kindly explained everything to ensure a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to everyone. It's an experience we won't forget!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a tiny home nestled in the breathtaking Wolgan Valley, and I can't recommend it enough. The house was absolutely charming, with every detail thoughtfully designed to maximize space and comfort. The views were nothing short of stunning and a perfect sense of tranquility that made it the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. One of the highlights of our stay was meeting the owner, Olwyn. She was incredibly welcoming and shared fascinating insights into the history of Wolgan Valley and its surroundings, adding a special touch to the experience. The entire experience was peaceful, quiet, and rejuvenating. If you're looking for a serene escape surrounded by nature, this tiny home in Wolgan Valley is a hidden gem. I’ll definitely be coming back!
