Walla Walla Gem - Peaceful, Private and a Perfect Central Location

Vacation in a lovingly remodeled home with an open floor plan and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Dining in? Enjoy a breakfast nook, dining table which seats 6, or sit at the eating bar. The three bedrooms each have en-suite bathrooms and there is an additional guest bath on the main floor. Luxuriate in the king bed in first floor master bedroom, or indulge yourself in one of the two queen bedrooms upstairs. Entertainment amenities include a Smart TV with Netflix and Pandora, WI-FI and 100+ cable channels, games and books. The inviting deck in back yard will draw you outside to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. Two off-street parking spaces are provided and a laundry room is conveniently located on the first floor for your use.

Stroll 4 blocks to the closest wine tasting room and restaurants, coffee and shopping can be found only 4-5 blocks away in the center of town. The Walla Walla Gem is within walking distance to a grocery store, the Marcus Whitman Conference Center and Jefferson Park. A vigorous walk will bring you to Whitman College and it is only a short drive to the Walla Walla University campus.

Amazing Walla Walla Home

This is the perfect home to stay at when visiting Walla Walla! Plenty of space for three couples, each room has their own en suite bathroom which is an added bonus! The home is decorated beautifully, and impeccably clean!

Perfect place for our Walla Walla visit

We came to the area for two nights to visit wineries and enjoy the town. The house was VERY clean and comfortable - just perfect. And we loved how close it was to town - great to walk there for dinner. Highly recommend.

A Perfect VRBO

The Gem is a gem!

Great location to access downtown Walla Walla or drive to the wineries out of town. House was extremely clean. The kitchen was very well appointed as were bathrooms. The rooms were good sized and loved that each had its own bathroom—plus a powder room off of kitchen. Yard was lovely though the weather wasn’t so we didn’t take advantage of outdoor space. Definitely hope to stay at The Gem again!

All you could ask for!

We stayed at this beautiful home for the fourth time, and were thoroughly pleased again. It is well appointed, comfortable and walking distance to restaurants, the Patisserie, and wine tasting venues. It is starting to feel like our home away from home!

Perfectly restored, Walla Walla Gem walking distance to downtown

Everything about staying at this house was perfect. It was the easiest check-in and check-out process. All three bedrooms in the house are wonderful, as is the entire house and we could walk to all downtown locations. Perfect for three couples on a weekend trip away to wine country.

The Gem is a True Gem

Fantastic place, each of the three, en suite rooms. Well appointed kitchen, patio in back great place for BBQ and evening gathering. We've been coming to the GEM for six years and look forward to more visits. Quick walk to town, convenient parking and an excel host.

We loved staying at this property. It was spotless clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely well and thoughtfully stocked. The property manager was sent all the information and everything went seamlessly. The online listing is accurate and it is very close to downtown. The parking in back is great, off street and easy to unload from. We will definitely stay here again, everyone loved the house!!

Robert and I lived in the Willamette Valley for decades, but love to travel and seek warm weather. Our travels brought us to Walla Walla and we decided it was a great destination. We have children and grandchildren in the area. We enjoy family time and water sports in the Columbia River and snow sports at Bluewood Ski Resort.

Why they chose this property

We purchased the Walla Walla Gem in January of 2017. We were charmed by beautiful historic buildings, tree lined streets and vitality in Walla Walla. We also enjoy the Central Washington weather. In addition to the wineries, there are many cultural, music and community events to enjoy. We love the energy created by having Whitman College and Walla Walla University in the community.

What makes this property unique

We were delighted by the recent renovation of the home. The early 1900's charm is still visible, with modern updates in all areas of the home. You can look forward to enjoying the warm weather on the back deck or sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee. The first floor has an open floor plan, so you can visit with friends while cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The close proximity to downtown is also a big advantage, as you can park your car and walk to shop or for breakfast or wine tasting. The home has a walkability rating of 85.
