Walla Walla Gem - Peaceful, Private and a Perfect Central Location

Vacation in a lovingly remodeled home with an open floor plan and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Dining in? Enjoy a breakfast nook, dining table which seats 6, or sit at the eating bar. The three bedrooms each have en-suite bathrooms and there is an additional guest bath on the main floor. Luxuriate in the king bed in first floor master bedroom, or indulge yourself in one of the two queen bedrooms upstairs. Entertainment amenities include a Smart TV with Netflix and Pandora, WI-FI and 100+ cable channels, games and books. The inviting deck in back yard will draw you outside to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. Two off-street parking spaces are provided and a laundry room is conveniently located on the first floor for your use.

Stroll 4 blocks to the closest wine tasting room and restaurants, coffee and shopping can be found only 4-5 blocks away in the center of town. The Walla Walla Gem is within walking distance to a grocery store, the Marcus Whitman Conference Center and Jefferson Park. A vigorous walk will bring you to Whitman College and it is only a short drive to the Walla Walla University campus.

I can’t recommend the Gem enough. It’s perfectly appointed and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The backyard is an oasis and we loved hanging out on the back deck. Perfection!

This is a wonderful, clean, well-decorated and spacious place to stay with friends! Three master suites for privacy, and lots of room in the common areas. We walked to dinners in town and only took out the car to go to the wineries. Highly recommend!

Robert and I lived in the Willamette Valley for decades, but love to travel and seek warm weather. Our travels brought us to Walla Walla and we decided it was a great destination. We have children and grandchildren in the area. We enjoy family time and water sports in the Columbia River and snow sports at Bluewood Ski Resort.

Why they chose this property

We purchased the Walla Walla Gem in January of 2017. We were charmed by beautiful historic buildings, tree lined streets and vitality in Walla Walla. We also enjoy the Central Washington weather. In addition to the wineries, there are many cultural, music and community events to enjoy. We love the energy created by having Whitman College and Walla Walla University in the community.

What makes this property unique

We were delighted by the recent renovation of the home. The early 1900's charm is still visible, with modern updates in all areas of the home. You can look forward to enjoying the warm weather on the back deck or sitting by the fire pit on a cool evening. The first floor has an open floor plan, so you can visit with friends while cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The close proximity to downtown is also a big advantage, as you can park your car and walk to shop, have breakfast or dinner, or for wine tasting. The home has a walkability rating of 85.
