There's a well-equipped, French-country styled kitchen on the main level, with a six (6) burner gas range and an additional wet bar/sink area.  Plenty of seating to include two (2) sets of bar seating and two (2) large dining tables.  There are three (3) living room / family rooms so that a movie can be watched in one, a card game in another, while the 3rd is just a quiet space to cuddle or read by the fire.  There are multiple Smart TVs throughout the property for entertainment.







The versatility of "The Chateau" is a big part of its popularity and it is designed to provide maximum comfort and convenience, complemented by its awe-inspiring natural surroundings just steps from two (2) freshwater lakes stocked with fish with kayaks/canoes provided. The property maintains a secluded atmosphere yet is in a prime location only 4 minutes from Timberline Ski Resort, 7 minutes from Canaan Valley Ski Resort and 15 minutes from White Grass Ski Resort.  If hiking is your pleasure, the home is privy to a private entrance to Dolly Sods only 3 minutes away and Blackwater Falls State Park only 20 minutes away.  A mountain bike mecca, almost 100 miles of world-class single-track trails, gravel roads and rails-to-trails can be accessed from the town of Davis, also home to the County’s full-scale bike shop.  If you want to venture out, you'll be spoiled for choices. Mountain Trail Rides Horseback Riding, Double S Stable, Canaan Valley Resort State Park Ice Skating Rink & Golf Course, Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge, and the longest sled run on the East Coast are only minutes from the home. A private, gated community located in beautiful Canaan Valley. You have access to both Spruce Island Lake and Sand Run Lake in Timberline to canoe and fish at (swimming prohibited by the HOA) and access to the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.







You will be staying in a private, gated community. Please have a list of everyone that will be staying in the house (first & last names) and vehicle information. A guard house form will be given to you at check-in for you to put the information on that you will give to the guards.
