OLD TIMBERLINE - 

A private, gated community located in beautiful Canaan Valley. You have access to both Spruce Island Lake and Sand Run Lake in Timberline to canoe and fish at (swimming prohibited by the HOA) and access to the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.



You will be staying in a private, gated community. Please have a list of everyone that will be staying in the house (first & last names) and vehicle information. A guard house form will be given to you at check-in for you to put the information on that you will give to the guards.

We liked that the property was near the top of the mountain and has a view over looking the valley.
We liked that the property was near the top of the mountain and has a view over looking the valley. The property was also pet friendly. That means a lot, to be able to bring our pets. The property also had some gaming features, for the rainy days. Did not interact with any of your employees.

We arrived Friday evening on a beautiful night.
We arrived Friday evening on a beautiful night. During the night, we had a bad storm and it really cooled things down but we were still able to enjoy the house and the area. Sunday, it returned to sunny skies. We loved the view, nature walks, and the spacious home. Thank you! I rented the house through VRBO. I had to send the contract 3 times, even though I had confirmation each time that it had arrived. I tried to give a corrected crecit card but no one would take it for the second payment. After it was to be charged, I called two days later and she said that it had declined. I said hmmm; that is why I wanted to give a new one when I called the week earlier. We also called about the TVs not working and someone showed up the morning we work packing up. Not needed then.

We enjoyed staying at Spruce Lodge. There was plenty of room for all 15 of us to spread out or sit together. Great view and the kids loved the hot tub! Will definitely be back in the future :) Helpful and attentive
