Lovely boho style house just a couple of blocks from campus. We had a nice two day stay with our family. Communication was easy and quick with owners. Would definitely stay again.

The host has beautifully maintained the charm of an old house while updating for today's traveler. We were in Durham during some relatively warm days in early September and it was a treat to sit on the front porch and enjoy coffee, breakfast burritos and pastry from the nearby Joe Van Gogh coffee shop. On a pleasant morning walk to the shop we encountered folks walking their dogs. The beds were comfortable. We chose to eat out so didn't use the kitchen. As an older person, I felt that the old staircase to the second floor bedrooms seemed steep. The showers were good but in bathtubs and not walk-in. Our delighted first impression held throughout our stay. The housekeeper is clearly conscientious.

This house is in a great location - very walkable to Duke as well as restaurants and shopping. Host Dylan was always available for questions. The house was cute and clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-supplied. We had a great visit and would stay at this VRBO again.

Older nice house with updated kitchen & bathrooms, very clean, well stocked with essentials. Great host communication. The few small cons is the upstairs window cooling units are not powerful enough to keep it comfortable during a summer day when the sun is out, and because it is an older house there is some floor noise when walking. Overall I’d recommend this property and say it was a good value.

Place was clean. Only complaint was upstairs air. Upstairs was really warm, the stationary fans don't really help much, but it was in a great area. Ton of stores close by and in walking distance of Duke. We were pleased overall.

Durham visit

Our group had a wonderful stay. The house was walkable to many places we wanted to go and we especially enjoyed spending time on the front porch. Highly recommend for groups looking to be close to Duke's campus!

Perfect location in Durham

Great spot for a family of four in Durham. There was an early spring heat wave and they promptly got window units installed upstairs. Clean and comfy stay.

Had an enjoyable stay. The hosts were responsive and even shared alerts regarding impending weather in the area (it was awesome to have access to a gas stove should electricity go out!). Ample parking with clear instructions. The kitchen even has an electric kettle - epic for an avid tea drinker like myself. The hosts also ask for feedback to improve the experience. Feedback included a curtain for the front window, dusting/cleaning again prior to a rental, and providing food storage.

House was very clean (and more importantly it didn't smell like cleaning products!). Location was great - easy to get around town. We had zero issues getting into the house or parking. The street was quiet. We enjoyed the front porch street swing in the mornings while drinking our coffee from Joe Van Goughs.

Wonderful home right off Duke's East Campus. Immaculate bathrooms, very nice hard-wood floors, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen. Easy walk to Duke and 9th Street shops/restaurants. Dylan was responsive and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more.
