Full Bathroom with shower . Propane BBQ and patio seating on the deck overlooking the French River. Two smart tv’s in the cottage. Starlink wifi to stream your favourite shows in the bedroom with the couch. There is also a selection of movies available in the Cottage and board games.

This unique cottage sits on 3 acres it is nestled on the French River surrounded by Crown Land.

Overall, great experience, free firewood, access to canoeing, kayak and lifejackets. Place was clean. The view was breathtaking and our dog Max loved his first ride on the canoe and kayak. Access to private beach via canoe. Quiet no neighbours hardly. Ver accommodating. Private BBQ. My husband and I will back again. We can’t wait!

Hi Janelle, sorry you felt that the amount of $175 for a two bedroom cottage on the French River was too much money. We do realize that your flight was later then expected for you the night of your arrival which didn't bring you to the property until 830pm that night. Wish you were able to utilize the complimentary kayaks, Canoe and the complimentary wood for the fire pit.

We travelled with guests from Germany who were interested in seeing the Canadian landscape. They were thrilled with the beautiful views of the river and the woods and the silence. The bedrooms and the bathroom are spacious. The kitchen was a little snug for 4 at the table but it was okay. Everything we needed for preparing and serving meals was available. May was a lovely time to be there, cold, but few bugs, and lots of beautiful wildflowers and birds. I'd love to come back in Fall.

Our family of 3 had an amazing time at this little cottage by the water. Jumping and swimming off the dock, boating and fishing and taking in the incredible veiws of the river. The cottage was clean, modern and well stocked with house hold amenities. Bring your own day to day essentials such as garbage bags, paper towels, tin foil and Ziplock bags. If you have mobility issues you may have a problem getting down to the water as there are many stairs that make they're way down the rock facing to the dock area. The hosts do live next door and were very plesant and knowledgeable about the river. They gave us our privacy which is greatly appreciated. Over all a wonderful place to stay! Thank you for the memories!

Wonderful Cabin on the French River

A wonderful stay! We only wish we could have stayed longer! We loved laying out on the rocks at night looking at the stars and then sitting on the dock in the morning drinking our coffee. So peaceful!

Gorgeous Property

Absolutely beautiful property to stay at. The view from the fire pit is unbelievable. The host is quick to respond to any questions I had. The cottage itself is a nice updated little place to enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding you. If you enjoy fires and water side scenery this is a great place to stay.

Wonderful time at the lake

The house was ready for us when we arrived. There were two kayaks and one big canoe we could use any time. The area is very quiet, even though there are many cottages around. The hosts are very cultured and discreet.

Gorgeous location and so peaceful. It’s exactly what my husband and I wanted for a 4 day getaway. Owners are onsite and are incredibly friendly. They’re there if you need anything but allow you privacy. Cottage is very clean and has everything needed. Loved having access to the kayak and firewood. Hope to come back!

Family getaway

We really enjoyed staying at this little cabin. Beautiful views. Feels off the beaten path but also close enough to towns and the 400 to also feel connected. Property is across the driveway from the owners house but has unobstructed views of the water. 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a small kitchen, so it is small, but we loved the place.

A wonderful little getaway for a nights stop over whilst travelling. Spotlessly clean, amazingly quiet and stunning scenery. Just beautiful! Just what the Doctor ordered after a long slog on the roads. If I had to make a similar journey I would be straight back to stay. Couldn’t fault it. The host was brilliant and very quick to respond.

Family winter getaway

Great, quiet location with gorgeous views of the river. Fantastic hosts, perfect communication. The cottage is newly renovated. The bedrooms are spacious each with their own TV and Blue-ray player. The kitchenette is small but complete with everything one needs, but there is no living room. There is a nice deck with a propane bbq as well. Overall we had a great time.
