Forest View House is full of cozy mountain charm. With its huge floor to ceiling windows, awesome forest view and expansive deck, Forest View House makes an absolutely fabulous home away from home. It has tons of amenities including central air conditioning (rare find in CO). The fenced yard and national forest access are perfect for families and their pups. Open the gate right off your property and step onto an adjacent path that leads directly to the Turkey Springs Trails System, an extensive network of trails for hiking and mountain biking. If you're visiting during the winter months, bring your skis and your snowboards and take advantage of the Wolf Creek Ski Area about 30 miles from your rental. After an exciting day on the slopes, hiking the trails, or whitewater rafting down the San Juan River, slip into the area's world-famous hot springs in the heart of downtown Pagosa Springs. Whether it be starting the day by sipping coffee on the deck and watching the local deer meander by, or unwinding in front of the fireplace after a day of fun and adventure, Forest View is the complete package for your Colorado getaway.



**SNOW CONDITIONS may arise during your winter season travel days or your vacation stay. Main roads are maintained throughout the day, however, many side roads receive less attention and every driveway has a different terrain. Wonderful place in Pagosa!

Our family has stayed here multiple times when visiting Pagosa Springs. It is a warm, comfortable, well-equipped and well-maintained place in a beautiful and quiet setting. I love how it backs up to the national forest with access to hiking. The location is also away from the busyness of the city, but still close enough. Great place for making memories!

Escape Texas heat

Beautiful scenery all around. We especially enjoyed the hiking right off the backyard. My husband and I are birders and we saw 76 species in CO. The hummingbirds, magpies and nuthatches were abundant in the backyard.

We have rented a lot of properties in Colorado and this was one of our favorites. It has a great deck that faces the national forest so we grilled out and ate on the deck almost every night while watching the deer go by. Our two dogs loved the expansive fenced yard. The master bedroom is very large and comfortable, as is the master bath. Overall, the house was stocked with everything you could need for a nice stay. It’s only about a 10 minute drive to the grocery store and Walmart and about 15 minute drive into town. It has has a great country feel while being close to all the amenities of town. Also close to a lot of great hikes. Would absolutely stay there again!

When booking wasn't sure about fenced yard, but my expectations were met, there were two large, fenced areas where dogs could be separated from people. The home was nice size, large enough for a group up to 10. Jedd from I-trip checked on us after the first night to make we were comfortable. Will definitely stay there again

Spectacular mountain home getaway

This house was amazing. The location perfect. You can walk out the back door onto National forest land and be hiking or biking within minutes. The house was nicely stocked with everything you could want from shampoo, conditioner and soap to pots and pans and kitchen supplies. We brought our two dogs and they loved running around in the large fenced in yard. Checking in and out went seamlessly and our property manager was quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Forest View, the fenced yard was absolutely perfect for our dog & direct access to the National Forest/Turkey Springs area network of trails a bonus we hadn’t fully realised until we arrived. The front & back decks were better than the photos show, we loved sitting out with a coffee & enjoying the Colorado quiet & wildlife. You can tell this place is a well loved family cabin & we appreciated how well stocked it was for nights eating in & even taking care of muddy paws. A couple of decor & applicance upgrades wouldn't go a miss at this point but other than this we had a lovely stay at this home from home cabin, the location really was perfect for us & having such a well fenced deck & garden is ideal for relaxing with your dog(s) post hike. The home owners have thoughtfully prepared this cabin for guests with good oversight & comms from iTrip & clear instructions throughout the home. Cracking place. We didn't really want to leave!

We arrived on a Wednesday evening, ITrip communicated with us the whole time. Even called us twice to check in on our traveling in and warned us about the Elk traffic. House was easy to get to in a quiet subdivision backing up to the natural forest. There was 7 of us and the house was still spacious to house more. Huge master suite, beautiful living room, highly equipped kitchen, 2 large rooms upstairs and a loft that could fit 3 air up mattress and still have room.We will definitely book this home our next stay.

Pagosa in the forest

House was wonderful! We’ve rented in Pagosa before, some a lot closer to town but none of them had the view or been so completely stocked as this did. Our cavapoo loved all the fenced yards and waited patiently every day to see the deer running by. The house was very comfortable and we all loved the walking trails in the national forest right out back. I will say that the construction downtown did inhibit us from going down during the day, but at night it was perfect and all the restaurants had parking although it might have been a short walk. We have talked about returning next summer but the traffic has us really thinking about it. If anyone is looking for quiet and a great place for your puppy this is the place!

The house looks ok , little smaller then i saw on the pictures , communication with the manager was great , then even agreed with changed dates if the weather don’t let us ti be there since was a winter weather warming, the problem is the house is not clean , there is some old grapes they you can look right away when you walk in the upstairs room , and many more ..

We didn’t want to leave. Love this place!

We have two dogs. Having two fenced in yards really a life a lot easier for us. Turkey Springs hiking trail is right behind the house. Pagosa Springs resort is only minutes away. We hiked almost every day and had gone to the Hot Springs. We cooked in every day because we love sitting outside on the patio, looking at the wildlife and the beautiful forest. The kitchen provided everything we needed. The first thing we noticed when we stepped out onto the large deck is how peaceful it is. Also, the night sky is filled with stars because of the lack of light pollution. We will return next summer
