Unfortunately we were unable to stay due to Cyclone activity in North Queensland. At late notice, Matthew willingly processed a refund for us. Would definitely stay at his property in the future if the opportunity arose.
This house is in a truly stunning location, right on the beach. The beach itself is peaceful and beautiful — perfect for long walks or just sitting and watching the waves. The house has everything you need, including a handy granny flat with its own toilet, which made things really convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the space was clean and comfortable for our stay. The only small downsides were the internet, which was a bit patchy, and the TV, which barely worked — but with a beach like that out front, we didn’t really mind.Would definitely recommend for a relaxing, beachside getaway.

Thanks Scott, appreciate your kind review and hope you choose to stay again in the future.
Very pleasant house and location. Comfortable and adequate sleeping. Some issues with features: could not operate spa, nor roller doors on garages and only found remotes on last day. Would have expected few more basics in kitchen such as glad wrap and foil and dish cloth for wiping benches and perhaps paper towel. Would have liked more microwave bowls. Would have liked more comprehensive quick guide on amenities within kitchen. Some issue with plumbing in laundry. Paved area flooded when washing machine in use. BUT none of this spoiled our great family reunion and celebration.
