Waters Edge 404 - Oregon Beach Vacations

Waters Edge #404 is a one bedroom, one and a quarter bath condo with room for four guests located in the historic Taft District of Lincoln City. Relax in luxury with this peaceful top floor view of the Siletz Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Watch as the bay awakens with the rising sun and changing tide. Enjoy the seabirds as they circle the beach and keep the clam diggers and fishermen company. Leisurely stroll up the beach toward the mouth of the bay. Search for the occasional perfectly intact seashell or beautifully formed piece of driftwood. There are even unique ocean formed rocks and sea glass to be found. Once in a great while you may even find a glass float used by Pacific Ocean fishermen. Keep an eye on the water and you might catch a glimpse of the seals playing in the tidewaters. You might even want to fly a kite on one of those windier Oregon coast days and watch the shapes of the clouds drifting by. Take a hike on one of the great trails in the area, such as Cascade Head in the north. Have lunch at one of the local restaurants where you can get everything from a hot dog to a gourmet meal, or take a picnic lunch down to the beach. If you're an antique collector, you'll find the many shopping areas around Lincoln City to be a treasure trove! You may find that there are not enough hours in a day or space in your car to complete your treasure hunting! In the evening, relax on the deck and enjoy your favorite drink as the sun sets and the beachgoers start their driftwood fires to ward off the evening chill. Truly wonderful!

Reallllly love this place! The view here is just amazing and even though there isn’t air conditioning, having the slider and the ceiling fans on, helped a lot. The bedroom is huge and the overall layout of the living room was very nice! My husband & I really want to come back for a longer stay. Lincoln City has become our “go to” for the coast! 😍😁

Noise disaster

Condo itself clean and beautiful.Saturday 7:30am were awoken to loud pounding on all roofs.It lasted till 7:30 pm that night. No quiet time very dissappointed.Our anniversary ruined.No privacy we are in top floor and contractors dropping shingles with nails all over.Could not enjoy Balcony even though weather was beautiful. They should of told us.

The overall cleanliness left much to be desired and they didn’t respond to anything after the first day because why would they when they already got paid

We booked a different condo at a different location and it was sold out from under us less than 3 weeks before we were set to arrive. So that did not make us happy! None the less we didn't want to cancel our trip so we booked this spot. It was pretty nice! (Not right on the ocean like our original spot). But we did enjoy the stay, the views right out our balcony of the bay were nice and we walked down the block to the ocean. We also weren't happy that the dryer wasn't working (kinda necessary with two small kids on a beach vacation, it was another reason we booked a condo). We were offered to be refunded if we went to the laundry mat, not something I want to do on vacation. Other than that things went great...except for the king bed, it's very uncomfortable and I hope the owners would consider replacing it with something nicer. Just for that reason alone I wouldn't book this condo, sorry, but when you don't sleep for a week on vacation bc the bed kills you it sucks! I definitely recommend this location, food and shopping are close by and the views are great!

Over all it was good but we had to wait nearly an hour late to check in because our room wasn’t clean yet. There is a lot of traffic noise which is to be expected considering it’s location. We couldn’t connect to the internet with the password they gave us so called the office and someone came within a couple of hours to fix it.

Few Things to Know but Overall A Great Spot!

Pros: This is right on the bay, so you can't exactly hear ocean sounds roaring but you've got a great view and direct access to the water. A short walk will take you right to the ocean. The bed was large and comfortable. The living area and kitchen were also large and easy to move about it. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment. Loved the fireplace! There was a standing fan in the bedroom which was really appreciated. Plenty of towels and having a washer/dryer was great. Cons: The living room furniture was not comfortable (pull out couch and matching chair). The outlets are decently sparse and the one by the TV was a bit touchy so we couldn't always get it to work. You are right by the road in and out of town so it can be noisy, especially in the bedroom. Lastly, and this is something that I think can be fixed, is that the fridge was leaking on the inside really badly. We had to store our grocery items on the top shelves because there was water all over the lower shelf and the crisper bins. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. That may look like a long cons list, but overall we really had a great time and would visit again! None of these issues were deal breakers for us, just something to note.

The shower/tub plumbing needs to be repaired. The water comes out the shower head and faucet at the same time, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted. The faucet plumbing cover is also missing. The deck could use new chairs and a small table. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: Great location to watch a giant lake appear during high tide that comes into this huge inlet —- and disappears to a tiny river flowing to the ocean (to the west)Morning greets you with an inlet you can walk across or dig clams.I loved elevator access to my spacious condo on the 4th floor. It was very clean, (but had to read the notebook to work the cable tv’s 3 remotes. Ha). I definitely would recommend this place.

While on the way to the beach they called and said we could not get in till 6. Stupid. Instructions for internet not correct. Otherwise comfortable. Shower sucks. Faucet falling off. Low pressure.
