Comfy beds, clean, cozy and well set up with for our group. We loved the mix of original farm house features with modern renovations. We loved having 4 separate bedrooms and the sitting areas in the front and back porches were so lovely!!
Great central location for seeing all the PEI sites! The house was lovely and comfortable. It is RIGHT on the main highway running East-West, so there's a good bit of traffic noise. It didn't bother me but more sensitive sleepers needed to solve for that. Great kitchen - it was our main hangout space.
Our family of six had a great stay here! The house was spacious, spotless, and in a central location. The owner was wonderful to communicate with and even checked in during our visit to see if we needed anything. Having laundry facilities and lots of towels was perfect for our group.A few notes for future guests: the highway nearby can be noisy in the early mornings, and it would be helpful to have a welcome sheet with house info, rules, and a departure checklist. Also, the garbage and recycling bins were full when we arrived. Overall, a comfortable and convenient spot for a larger group!
Place was very clean, kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating supplies, bedrooms were nice and bedding was clean. Even had a bonus office/den room that worked for the baby room. Would definitely recommend!
Overall we have a very nice stay at this house. The communication from the host was clear and responses were quick. The house was clean although there was a bit of an odor on the first floor. The location is convenient to accessing both the North and South beaches on the island. Just note that it is right on the very busy Rt 2 highway so we were often awakened to truck noise. It was nice to have laundry at the house for drying wet bathing suits and towels. The kitchen was well stocked and worked well for our breakfast. Thanks for sharing your home.
The house is very spacious with a lot of charm. . It worked great as a home base to explore the north coast, south coast, Charlottetown as well as many of the other quaint communities in central PEI. Communication with the host was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.
We arrived on the long weekend for a work trip. The area was great, the accommodations were more than up to par. We had a large group and every single person was very impressed with the booking. Thank you so much for having us!
Very clean and well-equipped home for a great price. Private setting, central location easy to drive to just about anywhere. We had plenty of room for a large group. Kaela left us very clear and thorough instructions and was easy to communicate with.
This sweet, comfy home was perfect for our needs. Many cute little nooks and sun areas. Plenty of places for privacy. We loved the location! It really is easy to get anywhere. Hint: if you need a bigger variety of groceries, pick them up in Charlottetown when you land, otherwise, there are other options within 15 minutes of the Airb&b. There is road traffic noise, but we dealt with it at night by having our room fans on. Overall, we were pleased with our stay :)P.s. There is an amazing bakery pop up on Saturday’s close by that our host told us about. The butter tarts were incredible!
We loved our short stay at the house. All the wonderful porches to sit and read or relax. Beautifully decorated and laid out! Our only thoughts for people are the upstairs bedrooms can be kind of hot if you get some hot days, no ac upstairs, we have a travel temperature gauge because of our toddler, with the windows open it is cooler, but loud because of the cars along route 2. The other thing is the upstairs shower water is very hard to adjust to a good temperature, again we would endure a little hotter, but adjusting it for my toddler was difficult as it goes from very cold to extremely hot with very little different knob selection. We would definitely come back and stay, as the location is a perfect place to explore the island from.
We picked this place as we had friends in Summerside, wanted to see Cavendish and Cabot beaches and Charlottetown. We took the ferry from Woods Island to NS as well.
The place was perfect for our family of 4 and since it was right in the middle of the island, every day trip was less than 30 minutes or so.
Only nitpick is that it’s right on the highway so there’s a lot of traffic noise, and it’s magnified when it rains.if your goal is a central location, big enough for a family of 4 or more, and you want a nicely located jump-off spot, this is great.

Charming, wonderful house
This house is really wonderful. It has this beautiful old-school design that is very charming and very peaceful. It seems to be very PEI.
A few quick things to know:
– the house is right off a busy-ish local highway. So care should be exercised with kids and if planning to go on bike rides.
– there didn't seem to be a grill or fireplace outside, which one could say are summer vacation necessities.
The property manager may not be very accommodating. Hours before check-in we were informed that local water could be contaminated and that we shouldn't drink water from the faucet in the house unless we boil it first. It's actually a hassle to have to boil water before drinking it (hopefully cold) in the summer when you're on vacation. The "tough luck" attitude was noted as no accommodating gesture of any kind (e.g. a token discount) was offered by the owner.

Thank you for this feedback.
Our home is located on the highway, however the confederation trail (which is an excellent bike path/walking trail) is located right behind the house. This is a great path for anyone wanting to do some biking across the island!
We have replaced the well due to the issues we had last year with the drinking water. With our new well setup there should be no issues with drinking water.
So very happy when I first walked in and saw so many places to be for our family is 7. First night 1 bed broke and king size bed sagged in middle because just held up with plywood and a piece of wire. Double bed railing came apart. You can tell it was previously fixed. Notified owner in the morning and within half hour someone came to fix problem.
First evening was notified by owner that the water testing came back with bacteria in it so do not drink water unless boiling it. You can imagine how many bottles I had to buy for a family of 7.
Was notified by owner that upstairs main bathroom shower did not work. Could only take baths upstairs. Downstairs small shower did work.
Did cook in house mornings and evenings. Fan an light over stove did not work. Someone had to stand under smoke alarm because it kept going off. Every time you opened oven.
Did notify owner on all problems and they thanked us. We were not notified prior to our vacation about these issues. Quite a few could have been fixed before renting it out.
House was lovely and spacious with lots of character.
When renting know that it is right on busy highway so you hear and see cars, trucks driving in front of house. Across the street are d sad one horses
Contacted the owner in morning
