Mara Lake family cabin w beach, dock, private deck

Welcome to Mara Vida Cabin. This cozy cabin is tucked in the trees at Buena Vista Resort, Mara Lake, Sicamous, B.C. *Sleeps 5 guests with kids. It has been fully updated with a bright interior, new furnishings & all the comforts of home with a/c, full kitchen & laundry. It is steps away from the resort's private beach with swim-up dock, slide and marina. Enjoy a peaceful morning coffee on the large private patio before hitting the beach and enjoying Mara Lake Life.

The space:
*** Please Read *** To adhere to the Sicamous zoning bylaw (Jan.2023) for Short-Term Rentals, we can only accommodate a max of 4 adult guests (not including children). As our cabin is a cozy 2 bedroom (queen + bunkbed) we welcome up to 5 guests with children as our space & resort is best suited for families.

The Cabin:
- 2 Bedroom with a queen bed & single over double bunkbed
- 1 bathroom with shower and stacked washer/dryer
- full kitchen with fridge, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, cook-top, toaster oven, air-fryer & dishwasher
- comfortable living space and large private deck with outdoor seating, outdoor dining table, bbq and propane fire table.
- fully-stocked with bedding, towels, laundry & cleaning supplies & toiletries
- family friendly with patio safety gates, playpen & kids games
- outdoor play equipment available to use at cabin (2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, bikes, tennis, horseshoe, beach toys/chairs, wagon)

The Resort:
- private beach, swim-up dock with slide
- basketball / tennis court
- large grassy play area & playground
- horseshoe pit
- common area beach fire pit (adhere to resort rules & fire bans)
- gated entry
- secondary washroom facility across road from cabin with payable shower & full-size laundry
- resort manager onsite
- 1 parking spot at cabin, extra parking outside gate

The Marina:
** Please advise if required prior to stay **
- maximum boat length is 23' excluding pulpit, swim deck & motor
- copy of boat or personal watercraft insurance policy must be provided to manager
- $18/day moorage for boats - $10/day for personal watercraft - $15/each launch + load (by manager only - onsite boat launch)
- empty trailers will be parked by manager in secured common storage area
>>> Boat launch/load may not be available on Weds or Thurs
>>> Please note that the marina is dated and planned for replacement. The new dock/marina design looks amazing and we're eagerly waiting for final approvals & construction tentatively Fall 2024.

Things to know:
- Buena Vista Resort is a strata community most suited for families.
- No smoking, no parties/events, please respect the neighbours and follow all strata guidelines.
- No pets... sorry we love them too, but the resort isn't best suited for them.

Guest Access:
The entire cabin is for our guests to use & enjoy. We've tried to include everything and more that you might need during your stay.
All of the water toys/play equipment belong to the cabin and are available for our guests to use.
Buena Vista Resort Amenities: playground, tennis courts, beach and swim dock are fully accessible by our guests and the marina with boat moorage is also available at an additional cost.
