We are completing our 13 th year with great success. Our 50 year family cottage was transformed into a spectacular summer retreat. Ideal for families, reunions, homecomings any gathering. The house offers tremendous space and views.
What's Unique about this house
Living Space, we have an upside down layout so the 28x 38 ft living space kitchen offers great space with 475 ft of Trex decking through 3 sliders! 32 in Flat Screen TV's in all of the bedrooms with full cable (2022) and wireless Internet, you can still escape to your room and watch your show while others watch theirs
Privacy, most rooms offer a suite like format , so while vacationing with your friends and family you still have privacy. 5 1/2 baths are an added bonus.
Air conditioning with two systems to keep up with demand, whether it is too hot outside, or the kids are just drained from the sun. Re-energize with the crispness of AC 4 zones for personalized comfort..
Outdoor hot and cold shower, with a hot water on demand system.
Hardwoods ( refinished in 2022), Stainless appliances, serving dishes, lobster pots , all the dishes etc. you need to entertain.


Why this property?
I grew up in the summers in Sand Hill Cove in the small cottage that was here. My Parents dream was to see the house in all of it's glory. In 2025 marks 62 years since the first house. This home was completed in 2013.

We know the area, I chose to raise my son in Narragansett, we both went to URI and lived "down the line". What that means for you is that we have the kinks out and hopefully have addressed everything a family might want or need in a vacation rental. And we are still looking for more feedback. Our goal is your best vacation!
PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT ADVERTISE ON CRAIGSLIST/ We no longer provide air mattresses, if you are in need of linens for your air mattresses brought by you or your guests please let us know prior to your arrival.

We have a Google doorbell and two outside cameras and a security alarm system new 2022.

Time with family

The communication from start to finish was seamless with Lisa the property manager. Lisa helped me in advance figure out the sleeping arrangements and provided everything needed for the children and the beach. Definitely will stay here again.

The house is very conveniently located. It is quite roomy and accomodated 12 of us with no problem. We especially liked the two refrigerators and the very long dining room table with lots of chairs.The house has an up and down layout. Not for those who have trouble with stairs. We were not bothered by that.

Perfect friends and family Home!

Each year we come to the Narragansett / Indian Lake area for a large friends / family getaway for the weekend. This home does not disappoint. Plenty of space for all ages. We travel with couples, singles, children and teens and everyone enjoys themselves. The house is super clean and comfortable and well appointed with all the little details a family would need to make their stay that much more enjoyable. Board games for the kids, anything you need in the kitchen, and a quick walk to the beach! We will be back next year!

Great house and location

The property was great for our bachelor party. It sleeps at least 18 comfortably and has space for air mattresses if needed. Prime location near beaches and restaurants. Lisa was great at communicating and took care of a minor issue very quickly. Highly recommend.

Under a trying situation because of the storm, we had to delay but totally enjoyed our time at Lisa's house. it is perfect for a large group. We would heartily recommend this property.

Beach vacation

The house was a good fit for our family. Enough bedrooms & bathrooms for everyone. Two fridges was a good addition for a large family. A short walk to the beach. Outdoor space was nice for relaxing. Outdoor shower was a plus. Overall a very good choice.

Wonderful home

This house was wonderful! We had six adults and seven children 6 and under. We all went to URI and fully enjoyed this location and Roger Wheeler beach! The house was perfectly equipped to handle all our needs! From the beach toys, to the lobster tools, to the pack n play, to the large kitchen table....the house is made to accommodate large groups of all age ranges. This house was more than we ever expected! The rooms are nice and the bathrooms clean and roomy. The washer and dryer help with packing less clothing ;). The house truly was perfect for our group. Thanks so much! I would (and will) highly recommend this house! Also the location is wonderful...an easy walk to the beach, close to fresh seafood in Galilee, and nice quiet street ;)

Excellent Vacation Spot

This has been the third year our large family has stayed at this location. We were among the first to rent the vacation home when it first became available. The rooms are large, open and the space accommodates us very well; there are 14 of us, 9 adults and 5 children. The location is superb; walk to the beach and local restaurants while other activities and restaurants are a short drive away. The house is well-furnished; really just bring yourself and a few clothes. There are many things in the house for comfort; well stocked plates, utensils, pans, towels, linens, games, beach toys, 2 refrigerators to accommodate large groups. Join in with the family or if you prefer, enjoy some quiet time; the house is well laid out. The Owner and her crew do a great job. The property is well-maintained and clean. If something needs repair they are right on it. They also try very hard to accommodate arrivals well before the stated check-in time.. I would not hesitate recommending this house and location.

Great family vacation house

We loved this house. We had 10 to 12 people staying with us for the week and we were all very comfortable. The large kitchen / dining room / living room was a great place for all of us to cook, eat and play games together. And the large decks were wonderful to have a cocktail on after the beach and to watch the sunset. Lisa was a great host. She was very responsive to all our questions throughout the week and when we had problems with the air mattresses at the house, she had new ones to us within hours. Thank you Lisa, and we'll see you next year.

Wonderful!!!!

We have just returned home after a wonderful week at your lovely home at Point Judith. Our stay was a family event to celebrate our 50th anniversary and the location and accommodations were ideal. The house suited our needs perfectly and everything was on hand to make our stay comfortable and stress free. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything including beach buggies for carrying equipment to the beach. With children in age from teenagers to 4 years old, finding areas of interest with that age span, to say nothing of the adults, proved easier than I imaged. There's much to do in the surrounding area but I'll be thinking of that beautiful deck and the views of the water for months to come. We all just loved it so much that we are booking again for next year.

Luxurious!!!!!!!

My Family and I stayed at this beautiful new home!!!!!! and it was spotless, and spacious, with breathtaking views of the ocean on the horizon!!!! and Always beautiful breezes!!!!!!!!! But what i loved best was the gourmet kitchen that we cooked all that great seafood from the fishing docks located about 3 miles away..... We will certainly book this home away from home again!!!!!!!

Great family option!

My family stayed here to attend my daughters wedding in June. The owners are wonderful to work with and they haven't missed a thing. They were still completing their renovation as we arrived, the house has everything you could want. The kitchen was stocked with the dishes, pots and pans and even outdoor essentials to enjoy the deck and grill. The outdoor spaces were very enjoyable plenty of room for everyone to be together, and yet enough space to retreat and enjoy the privacy of your own room. Thank you again for a great vacation experience I could not imagine staying anywhere else! 5 STARS!!

I am a RI native who grew up during the summer in Narragansett, graduated from URI and lived down the line, and subsequently spent most of my adult life raising my son in the Narragansett area. We take pride in the home that you are viewing as it was my son's home during his academic years at URI. We operate it as a family project not a 'mill'. We manage it ourselves with capable handyman to keep a more family oriented experience. We make every attempt to accomodate earlier check in and will call you by cell as soon as the turnover is complete. You are always welcome to park, grab the beach chairs and head down to the sand. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. We have a list of FAQ's that we continue from previous renters.
