About this property

Lake Superior Waterfront Cottage ! 2BD + Loft

Located on the shores of Lake Superior and just 45 minutes from the city of Sault Ste. Marie is our welcoming cottage. It has 2 bedroom and a loft for sleeping (4-6) comfortably, heat, running water, 1 bathroom and fully functioning kitchen.

Beautiful sunsets, a fire pit and trails galore! Bring your ATV and fishing rod because there's many fishing spots at your finger tips. If you want to just relax there's a public beach not a far bike ride away. The cottage also has a wood burning sauna that can be used if desired.

30 minutes from the cottage is an LCBO, garbage disposal and general store and 45 minutes into the city has restaurants, shopping and grocery stores etc.

Cozy waterfront cottage!

A lovely cottage on Lake Superior with charm. The space comfortably sleeps 4 and beaches are accessible a short car ride away. The space is not equipped with linens or towels, TP, coffee or potable water so pack up before arriving. A lovely wood fire sauna awaits with stunning Lake Superior as your cold plunge!

What an incredible property! Our family of 4 enjoyed every moment in this beautiful cabin. Our family took advantage of the sauna followed by a cold plunge in Lake Superior. We enjoyed coffee every morning listening to waves sitting by the lake. We didn't miss AC as there was a nice breeze from the lake and it cooled down quite a bit at night. We had all the amenities we could ask for and the beds were comfortable. Our hosts were very responsive and friendly. We would love to come back and stay here again!

Overall it was a great trip to explore for my wife and I. When we pulled up to the property you missed it due to the amount of over growth on the drive path, almost like nobody has been by for some time. To piggy back off of it seeming like no one had been there for a while is how long and uncut the yard was as well as the amount of spider webs all over the property. The interior was fairly clean although dog hair seemed to still be there. Sauna was great. My wife needed to do some work while we were there as well on the listing it showed that they had accessible WiFi on the property come to find out that was false as the owner of the property told me that they forgot to change that on the listing since the provider doesn’t work out there anymore. There was also no smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector. Overall a good spot, but it should be better taken care of and have the amenities listed when we first reserved the space
