Nice large home for our extended family. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and dock in the evenings. You can swim right out front, but if you're looking for a bit more sandy beach, there are 2 great parks nearby, one within walking or paddle boarding distance. House was well stocked and AC kept the house nice and cool.
We loved our stay here. Our siblings met here for a family wedding near by. It was very comfortable and accommodating. Well stocked with dishes and very comfortable beds. Nice sitting areas. A beautiful view and even fishing poles that the brothers enjoyed using!
We loved the place. The lake was perfect. Couldn't have asked for better weather. The hose was well stocked with everything we needed. A/C was a life saver when we weren’t outside.
For our Fourth of July family vacation, we were looking for a home near water with lake and boat access. This property met our expectations—it was inviting, clean, and well laid out. The bi-level home had several bedrooms and bathrooms, a shared living space, a kitchen, strong air conditioning, and parking for six vehicles. A staircase connected the two floors. The upper deck featured a lake view, a table, chairs, and a barbecue, where we spent much of our time. Below, the concrete patio was unused. A short walk through the yard and down a wooden staircase led to a beach with a small dock.Water near the dock was only 2–3 feet deep, so we anchored our 21-foot boat offshore with a concrete anchor and chain, about 30 feet from the dock. The neighbors were friendly but gave us privacy, which we appreciated. There were a few drawbacks. When we arrived, the previous guests’ trash was still out front and remained uncollected for four days, leaving us with limited garbage space. More frustratingly, the kitchen lacked adequate cookware—we had to prepare meals for eight using only two small, flimsy pans. The dishes were dirty, so we resorted to disposable plates and utensils.Despite these issues, we made the best of it. If we return, we’ll bring our own kitchen supplies. Overall, the home was exceptional, and we’re grateful to Cole for sharing it—it made for a memorable summer vacation.
