Luna Sol is a luxury, gulf-front duplex house located directly on the beaches of Destin, Florida. Comprised of Luna Plata and Sol Dorado, the combined property sleeps 44 guests! This is the ideal home for a group getaway. It makes a great spot for any vacation or getaway, directly on the beach. There are fourteen total bedrooms and four bonus bunk nooks. The duplex is comprised of two connected units – each with seven bedrooms and mirrored floor plans. There are 10 king suites, 4 guest suites with 2 queen beds in each, and 4 bunk nooks. Each suite has its own private, ensuite bathroom and flat screen TV.

In addition to having the beach right in your backyard, there is also a private pool and covered patio space. Four outdoor decks ensure that you'll enjoy the sweeping Gulf views from every floor. Inside the duplex are new, designer furnishings and open floor plan layouts that make it spacious and inviting for even the largest vacationing groups. Other special features of the home include an in-home elevator. The duplex is also pet-friendly for up to two small dogs, with payment of the pet fee.

Living room furniture, Beds, patio furniture Needs Updating

Living room furniture was atrocious, they used a block of wood for 1 missing couch leg, cushions totally flattened, stains all over, needed to be put on the side of the road or burned. Master Bed was bad,(sunk in 10 " when you sat on it., patio furniture broken and rusted out. Building needs new paint job bad(rust stains all over) A/C got up to 76° on several afternoons. Condition of house put a big damper on our vacation.

Best Large Group House

Stayed on many different properties. One of the best is right here. If you want to be on the beach in a nice house with a lot of people this house is for you. House is as advertised . Small issues did arise during our stay but the management group was always right on it, we were always able to reach someone, and they were very quick to fix or remedy the situation. Location is the best in all Destin. House truly does accommodate 44 persons with ease, we had 43. The beach and sand is absolutely top notch. You wont find a better beach in the continental U.S. for playing in the sand and water as a family. Beach and sand were perfect for our nightly beach volleyball tournaments. House is well stocked with cooking utensils. You do need to bring your own beach towels. The small shade covered pools were very helpful for little kids during hot days. The kitchens are great and spacious for cooking and serving large groups. Floor plan is very efficient and the elevators are nice for elderly. Each room and bathroom provided great living conditions. My only recommendation would be to add an extra freezer or fridge/freezer in each house. Each side of the house has a large fridge freezer but with as many people as it can sleep, a little more fridge/freezer space would be nice. Great place overall, Definitely one of the, if not the best, beach house we have stayed at.

Well kept and beautiful, striking aqua tones, spacious and clean

We had a wonderful time here, it was the perfect spot for our huge family of 13 siblings, plus spouses, children and grandchildren. Traveling from Montana and Ohio to celebrate our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, this house provided us with the ideal space to accommodate everyone, and the balmy weather was a delightful welcome. The white sand and crashing waves were an awe-inspiring and delightful experience. The kitchens provided wonderful space for cooking large meals, and we had great fun. A few dish rags and clean up rags, and a few more rolls of toilet paper would have improved our experience even more. A few rugs inside the glass doors might make cleaning up after us a bit easier! We would do this again in a heartbeat.
