We enjoyed our stay at Mara House. It is at a good location and the place is clean. We love that our dog can roam around the house safely as it is fully fenced. Would love to go back again.
Clean and tidy, suited our extended family group. Large bedrooms, well layed out space. Photos online dont do this place justice. We loved it. Very homely and comfortable. Great spot for fishing and walking. Plenty of room for you cars and boats. Highly recommend. Appreciated the little thing, hand soap at all sinks, toiletries supplied. Well appointed kitchen stocked with almost everything you needed. Thank you for having us.
We particularly liked the big fenced garden where our little dog could just wander around. Nice and clean rooms all through the house. We appreciated using the washing machine and clothes line. Nothing wanting! Thank you.

Bedrooms were large and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a chair and small table/desk in each bedroom.
The expansion bunkhouse (looked like a converted garage) could have used a bathroom. It had a shower but no toilet, so running water and drains were available. It had an unfinished look! There was a locked door in the back area, which perhaps contained a toilet, but none of the keys worked on the door. The person sleeping out there had to walk across the driveway to get to the toilet.
We found lots of interesting nature walks and beaches near by, had to drive to St Helens for groceries and only one restaurant (which was fine) was near by. Across the street, at the beach, we befriended the pelican family,
Lots of interesting things about 15 minutes drive away.
