The location was perfect with lots to do around and only a 30 min drive into the city. Troy was very nice and helpful when we checked in. Would definitely recommend!
From the owner:"Thank you for your feedback! I’m sorry you had trouble locating a few of the kitchen essentials during your stay. The salt and pepper are typically kept in the refrigerator, and the spatula is in the cabinet next to the microwave. I always encourage guests to reach out if they need anything or can’t find something—I live right next door and am happy to help make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible."
My friends and I had a very nice stay at this apartment. It was small, but very nice and cute and met our needs well. The TV was big, the closet spaces were great, and the beds were comfortable. It was a little cold, so we didn't use the kayaks, but were appreciative that they were available. The kitchen could use a few more pans and utensils, but we made it work. This was in the description, but just be aware that the floors are uneven, and there are several stairs because it is the upstairs apartment. It's an older building, so doors are a bit creaky and things like that. Overall, we had a good stay and would stay there again.
Our family spent a long weekend at this apartment located in a quaint town w/private lake (backyard) & larger lake across street. Beautiful area! The apartment is from the early 1900’s. Owner has nicely redone it while keeping its original charm! It's well stocked w/ tv's in each room, nice kitchen appliances, xtra towels, cleaning supplies, paper goods, kayaks, canoe, bikes, & fishing poles. The owner is very friendly & easily accessible. He left us a bottle of wine and an assortment of candy bars as a "Welcome"!
Thanks for a great getaway, Troy!

Great Little Place on the Quiet Side of the Lake!
Troy's place was the great quiet stay we needed before and after the MN State Fair, located on the "quiet side of the lake" (near Lake Minnetonka and still close enough to enjoy it but located on Langdon Lake) with access to kayaks and a dock to watch the sunset. We interacted w Troy a bit in the yard; he has an interesting history and was a great host online and in person. As 3 people, the space worked well for us. Be aware that this is an upstairs apartment and there are other people/apartments/houses on premises but as long as they are kind guests like we had, there is enough yard space to enjoy and go around.
The property was very clean. Location was perfect! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the lake, kayaks and bikes. Lots of personal touches made us feel very welcomed.
From the owner: "We're sorry to see the 2-star rating and wish we had received more detailed feedback so we could better understand your concerns. Many of our guests enjoy access to the scenic bike trail that leads into South Dakota, catching bluegill right off the dock, and a large fire pit with enough wood to last for days. We also provide complimentary champagne for our guests as a special touch. We do remember our conversation about the bathroom layout and understand it may not have been ideal for your group. We do our best to make this detail clear in the listing. While our home is designed for a maximum of six guests, we noticed your group included seven, which may have impacted your experience. Thank you for rating your visit."
