Isla Del Sol is an island community on a tropical barrier island surrounded by Boca Ciega Bay and nestled between the southernmost tip of St Petersburg and St Pete Beach, Florida. This island community has many different condo neighborhoods each with beautiful tropical landscaping, heated pools, spas, and clubhouses, some with private beaches and water views everywhere you look. Biking and walking trails will take you from your condo to the Shopper’s Village and around the golf course of the private Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club. 'The Island is just minutes from the warm, turquoise waters and the many beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, Fort DeSoto Park, and Fort DeSoto's North Beach voted one of America's top beaches. Tons of shops, restaurants, and many exciting things to do are just a short drive across the Bayway Bridge to Gulf Blvd. Explore historic Pass-a-Grille beach and the bustling St Pete Beach or drive up the coast following Gulf Blvd through Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, Redington Beach, Indian Shores, Indian Rocks Beach, Belleair Shores all the way to Clearwater Beach to see what adventures you may find! It’s also just a quick drive to I-275 to experience all that Downtown St Petersburg has to offer. St. Pete Beach, the most southern link in a chain of barrier islands that make up the Tampa Bay Sun Coast, offers residents and visitors miles of pristine white sandy beaches that border the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. St. Pete Beach, formerly known as St. Petersburg Beach, has a wide variety of accommodations ranging from large-scale resorts to the classic Florida mom-and-pop vintage motels that bring back memories of old Florida. The city was incorporated in 1957 with the consolidation of the Towns of Pass-a-Grille, Don CeSar, Belle Vista, St. Petersburg Beach, and unincorporated Pinellas County to become the “City of St. Petersburg Beach.” In 1994, the citizens voted to shorten the name to “St. Pete Beach” to lessen the confusion with the City of St. Petersburg, located on the mainland to the east. The City of St. Pete Beach is located just off the Pinellas County mainland of Saint Petersburg, just south of Treasure Island, 20 miles from Clearwater Beach, and within 30 miles of both St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport and Tampa International Airport. With year-round sunshine, an abundance of recreational activities, restaurants, and shopping, St. Pete Beach is one of the most enjoyable places to live and vacation, in the world.

Master bath could not be used, as there was a very foul stench. Tried pouring bleach in the sinks and the tub, to no avail. Discovered that the plunger had feces caked unto it! Washed it in the toilet bowl with bleach to get the feces off of it and curtail the smell. It really makes you wonder what the cleaners do prior to occupancy. There was also a baby changing table located in the master bedroom that stunk to the high heavens. We moved it to the guest bedroom closet, as we’re not in need of the bedroom, to get away from the stench. Living room furniture was not very comfortable. It didn’t matter how many pillows we tried! Just awful. There was also a power outage during our stay, in which we were not notified by the host regarding how long the anticipated outage was going to take. The neighbors were notified by their hosts/owner, but we were not!Not enough room for pantry items and too many duplicate appliances that took up the space. There wasn’t even salt, only pepper, and some old peanut butter, which we refused to utilize. Starter spices, salt/pepper/garlic powder, would have been appreciated. Parking pass had to be secured from a separate building a couple of mile’s away, which closes at 5PM. Upon arrival to the parking pass location, they could not locate the paperwork for the pass! After some time had passed, the pass was finally handed over. Instead of wishing us a good stay, the clerk simply handed the pass over. Would not recommend this condo unit.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and take your concerns seriously.
The cleanliness issues you described are unacceptable and not reflective of our standards. We have addressed this immediately with our cleaning team and are conducting a thorough inspection to ensure this does not happen again. Had we been made aware during your stay, we would have responded right away to resolve the situation or offer alternative accommodations.
We also apologize for the odor you encountered and the condition of certain items in the unit. These have now been removed and replaced. Your comments about the furniture comfort and kitchen setup are noted, and we will review both to improve the overall guest experience, including adding basic pantry essentials.
Regarding the power outage, we understand how frustrating the lack of communication must have been. Unfortunately, outages are outside of our control, but we agree that better and more timely updates should have been provided, and we are improving our communication process moving forward.
We regret the inconvenience you experienced with the parking pass as well. We are currently working with the management office to streamline this process and prevent delays for future guests.
We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention, as it allows us to make necessary improvements. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet expectations.
If you want, I can make this more defensive (if you think parts of the review are exaggerated) or more apologetic depending on your tone.
This condo was exactly how the pictures show it. My family & I loved it. It was very clean, the neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. The pool was so relaxing and the other tenants/visitors were all so sweet and welcoming. Loved sitting on the balcony at night or early in the morning relaxing having my cup of coffee enjoying the peace and quiet. We would go to the beach daily which was only a 5 minute drive to St. Pete beach, we also visited Treasured beach, and Pass a grille beach as well. One more beautiful than the other. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again in the future. My family and I had a great vacation.
