Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
the place looks and feels nothing like how it is presented. It is not beachfront. It is quite dirty and run down. It likely has mold as my girlfriend and I both got sick and left after 1 night.
We enjoyed the property and location, it was a lovely time!

Bottom line is for the price, you can almost certainly do better - keep looking. But first, there are good parts. If you are fishing in the area, especially in a trailered boat, this spot is perfect. Super close to Taylor Point Marina and has a fantastic driveway to park a large boat and vehicle. You are right in town with easy access to food, gas and everything you need. Now - if you are a group of fishermen that don't care about where they stay, you can end here. But the house is old and broken. Exterior doors dont open and close properly, all of the fixtures are functional but old, the interior floors are super uneven. The photos kind of show it, but its dark and although relatively clean, the place is depressing. The beds are super old and uncomfortable. In the downstairs bedroom, there is a smoke detector with a green light that fills the entire room - tough to sleep without a mask. The coffee maker leaked all the water on to the counter. pay attention to the hangout areas (living rooms) - much of the downstairs has two areas, one is a borderline hallway - the sunroom/porch is pretty nice with all the windows though. The previous spider comment is legit. super unsafe stair 'rail' - its a rope. The kicker is the whole you have to pay for sheets and towels. Add several hundred for your stay. At that price point, there are better options - this house needs real repairs or a renovation to be a viable VRBO.
There were a ton of spiders inside the house and it was full of dust and cobwebs. The house was in a great location but the cleanliness was unacceptable.
