About this property
Charming beach home in heart of old Dunsborough
Welcome to our little piece of 'down south' holiday magic - a beautifully presented original 1920’s Queenslander style cottage nestled in Old Dunsborough, less than 100m to the beach. The recent renovation was designed to merge traditional features with modern day living. A real character cottage that we are sure you will fall in love with.
The home is on a large block, well set back with spacious front lawn and gardens. Verandahs wrap around the house and run onto a large deck at the rear making for several relaxing outdoor areas. There is a new double garage and parking at the rear.
Original features such as lead-light windows,, jarrah flooring and verandahs, feature cornicing and ceiling roses, create an old world charm for you to enjoy. At the same time, the home has been modernised with a freshly installed modern kitchen, smart-TV, wifi and air-conditioning for your comfort.
The house has three bedrooms, two with queen beds and another bedroom with two single beds. The 3rd bedroom with the two single beds is accessed via the 2nd bedroom.
The new kitchen has Bosch appliances including an induction stove, large electric oven and dishwasher. The dining room adjoins the kitchen and living area, forming an easy style open living area. We now have a microwave.
There is a separate lounge room with sofas and smart TV.
There are two separate indoor showers, both walk in and a 3rd private outdoor hot shower fully connected. There are two WCs and a laundry
The whole home is for the sole use of guests.
Always available to make your stay special.
The location really is as good as it gets. About 4 houses back from the beach, the house is very close to a great little bay for children and then only a few minutes walk to the Old Dunsborough Beach. There under shady trees, you'll find a boat ramp, playground, coffee van and bbq’s on the lawns. )
Adjoining the Old Dunsborough Beach is the Meelup National Park, with walks along the coast to Castle Rock, Meelup and beyond to Eagle Bay.
The Dunsborough Country Club is a short walk away and has golf and tennis facilities. A 10 minute walk, or couple of minutes drive and you'll be Dunsborough town centre which has all the shopping and dining options you could require.
You can get most places by simply walking or riding your bike.
Included in the cleaning fee - linen is provided and beds are made-up. Bath towels, hand towel and bath mat are also provided - please bring your own beach towels and face clothes.
This property is self-catering, however a starter pack of toilet paper, hand soaps, shower gel, dish washing liquid, sponge & bin bags, etc. is provided.
School Leavers: We do not accept any school leavers bookings at any time of the year.
We wish you an enjoyable vacation but we also ask for you to show consideration to the neighbours with respect to noise, especially after the hours of 10pm.

No pets, no parties – quiet after 10pm. Please note that the owner’s elderly parents live close by! This home is licensed for a maximum of 6 people (which includes children) at the premises at any one time. If you break these conditions, you will be required to leave immediately with no refund. If you open it close it, if you turn it on turn it off. If you take it out put it away. :) Be happy.
