Couples and solo travelers love this cozy one-bedroom rental, especially when they learn about the gas fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. It’s the perfect weekend retreat!

This single-level unit is a cozy little vacation spot for individuals and couples. The one-bedroom, one-bath rental includes a stone-lined patio and entry, with a half-flight of stairs before the front door. The cozy single queen bed works well for everyone. The bathroom includes a large vanity plus a shower/tub combo so you can relax with a bubble bath or wash off with a quick shower after a day of off-roading in the mountains.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a standard refrigerator, stove, and microwave. You can cook entire meals to eat in the dining area or pack up a picnic for a day outdoors. The kitchen also has a toaster, coffee maker, and basic cooking items. Dishes and flatware for four are provided.

This unit’s gas fireplace is perfect for a romantic evening indoors or in chilly fall temperatures, while the air conditioning cools things down during summer. Other home comforts include high-speed wireless internet and Hulu Stream TV. You can also take advantage of the on-site laundromat (coins required).

A refundable damage deposit of $500 will apply on the credit card upon check-in.

Great little place for quick getaway to Ouray for a few days. Clean, had everything we needed. Very easy walk to downtown. Only complaint is there were only two Keurig pods for coffee so only lasted one day. Would be nice to have additional pods for a 3 night stay or a coffee filter for the machine. Would stay again.

Great but not so great

This is a “walkout basement” sort of place with its own sunken patio. It’s spacious . However, it has the feel of being owned by a property management rather than lived in. For example, there is a Keurig with pods but not a single coffee cup that holds the volume needed. There were no directions for the fireplace that I could find. I could hear people walking above me which is tough when trying to sleep. Mattress was too soft. The last night I thought to go to the living room to sleep, perhaps get away from the heavy footed upstairs neighbor. But the couch is too short to lay on. All in all it was a good home base and Ouray is very walkable.
