Christmas in Punta Gorda

We had a wonderful stay in the Lighthouse Villa over Christmastime! The home is so special and is even better in person than what we were expecting. The lanai has lots of room to relax and dine and the views are stunning. We saw dolphins one day! There is plenty of room inside as well and the bedrooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our host, Christian, was so kind and gracious, and we hope to come back again.

An amazing place for our family vacation!

This place is truly a gem! It is a beautiful home, well maintained and welcoming. We barely needed to leave the property. We cooked our meals there, hung out by the pool, and fished in the canal. HUGE fish in there, by the way! Christian and Malinda are wonderful hosts! Very accommodating and attentive and so kind. I would rent this house again, and I hope to do so! Thank you!!!

Memorial weekend 2024

We had the best time!! This house is amazing, and has so much character. We have never stayed in a vacation rental that is so well stocked with everything you might need. The pool area is a dream! I enjoyed lounging and watching the boats go by while my kids played in the pool! We also had a blast fishing off the dock. Christain is an exceptional host, answered any questions we had and is just a genuinely nice person! I'm so glad we came across this place, we will definitely be back!

Great weekend

Owner lives directly next door, only separated by a breeze way, but we only seen him when we wanted to. First night he hung out with us, had a great time, then never seen him again. House was nice, very comfortable and great location to shops and restaurants. Christian was a great host, very accommodating with the amount of people we had staying. Will be back.

Unbelievable property in an amazing location

It’s hard to describe all the great things about the Lighthouse as a property and Christian as a host. Everything was better than described. First the property is like walking into your own private resort, the towels, bed sheets, lanai area, appliances, best home we’ve rented in PGI by far. The location, we walked to Fisherman’s Village for dinner, watched the sunset over the Lighthouse, saw boats, dolphins, and caught lots of fish (multiple 30+ pound drum). Christian went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We loved sitting with him learning about the history of the house, getting dinner recommendations, and enjoying a few beverages. This will be the first place we book anytime we head back to Punta Gorda. Thank you Christian!!

Amazing!!!!!

We rent a home in Florida every year to enjoy time with our family which lives in Florida. I have to say this was the most beautiful rental we have ever stayed at! Our hosts were the most friendly, accommodating, and just plain awesome! As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Malinda and Christian and a tasty beverage made by Malinda :) They are seriously the best! There were to help with anything we needed. We arrived at their home as guests and we left as friends! The home is gorgeous..the whole back of the house has sliders for that indoor outdoor living looking out to the pool and canal! Sitting outside watching the boats go by was just amazing :) The best part is that you will be staying at a landmark lighthouse!!!! I can't say enough has much my family and I loved staying there and how much we loved Malinda and Christian :) We can't wait to go back to stay at this beautiful home!! Thank you guys for such an amazing time we can't wait to see you again!!!!

Wonderful Property & Host

From the very beginning we knew this was the right property and that Christian was the right host. Everything about our stay was first-class. Communication with Christian was timely and he was attentive to all of our questions via text message. We only ever saw Christian upon an invitation to join he and his father for wine. We ended up spending an evening with them both sharing food (an incredible roast duck)/wine and stories. It was a perfect evening as we wrapped up our visit making it difficult to return to real life.

Lovely Lighthouse

We stayed at the Lighthouse home in July. It was a truly unique experience for our two families (4 adults, 4 teens and one dog). Christian and Melinda were accommodating and willing to answer our every question. They provided us with recommendations on where to eat, best places to travel by boat and were quick to remedy any issue that we had arise. We were able to dock a boat there during our stay making for fun family adventures and convenient traveling. We had many successful nights of fishing right outside on the dock viewable from the luxurious lanai, were able to see dolphins playing in the canal, had a variety of outdoor cooking options available and a nice night time ambiance provided by the lights throughout the lanai, at the gazebo, and inside of the real & accessible lighthouse! Our family enjoyed the close proximity to Fishermans village, stores and restaurants while still being able to maintain quiet and privacy due to the home being situated at the end of a street in a quiet neighborhood.

Family vacation

Had a very relaxing vacation with our adult children and their children. Enjoyed the availability of the pool and canal for fishing. It’s conveniently located to several restaurants and stores but still feels like it’s secluded. The house is welcoming but still provides space to spread out as wanted. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating for any needs that arose.

Fabulous property, great communication with owners. location was great.

Our family truly enjoyed every minute, lot of fish in the canal, my wife's grandson caught a 30 pound Black Drum just before we left. This was the best rental property we have ever stayed in.

Malinda and Christian went above and beyond to insure that our stay was enjoyable. Their lovely home was like a resort w every amenity you could imagine. After the past year of worry and separation from friends/ family due to Covid---these past few days away were definitely a welcomed blessing!

Epic 50th birthday party and New Years Eve experience..

My wife and I along with 2 other couples stayed here for five nights. It was absolutely amazing. I almost lowered my accuracy of the online listing review because it did NOT do it justice. Everything exceeded expectations! The pool, lighthouse, rooms and amenities were perfect. We also enjoyed our time with Christian and Malinda! We are looking forward to our next stay here!!

Staycationing at its best

This property had everything We needed and Christian was very polite and easy to work with. Beds were comfortable, house was clean and there were plenty of fish in the canal. We enjoyed our stay and didn’t need to go anywhere while there. Kids loved the pool and outdoor area and the lighthouse was a hit!
