The landlord couple are friendly and welcoming individuals. We had a wonderful vacation here, and we appreciate the tips they gave us for exploring the area. We will definitely stay with them again next time.

Peaceful & Cozy Getaway!

This cottage was everything we hoped for and more! It was super clean, cozy, and had such a warm, welcoming vibe. The host was amazing — incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.Every little detail was taken care of, and it honestly felt like a home away from home. Definitely worth every penny — we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway!

This is a cute little home, with a nice deck to enjoy. Very spacious, comfortable beds. It’s on a street very close to the highway, so there’s a lot of traffic noise. The backyard was under renos but the front and side yards were available, along with a hammock my kids had fun trying to lay on :) Big fridge, dishwasher, AC, and extra fans! Blackout curtains would be nice in the front room as it’s quite bright quite early. It’s close to many beaches, Coombs, Parksville, and Nanaimo. Overall, it was a good place to for our family to enjoy our last day of our island trip. We would book here again

Sadly we have to give this VRBO a low review due to non-disclosure of important info regarding the property. The biggest thing was that the host family was on the property so there was NO privacy. Other big concerns included “limited” AC in the home or window coverings to keep out the heat, lack of comfortable seating for 6 adults, uncomfortable beds and an understocked kitchen. There was no access to the backyard although this was not clearly communicated in advance.
