A modern, beautifully appointed beach house with stunning Mountain views

Close to Tairua's Ocean Beach and enjoying unobstructed views of the estuary and majestic Paku mountain, is a comfortable and relaxing place for a holiday or short break away.

Fully self-contained and well-equipped there are three generously sized bedrooms, a main lounge, family room, open plan kitchen and dining area which opens onto large outdoor decking area for el-fresco dining.

For your comfort, every room in has a heat pump to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. A spa-pool, gas BBQ, wood-fired pizza oven, bikes, body boards and kayaks are free for you to use during your stay.

'Ocean Beach Oasis' is just short walk away from Tairua's beautiful Ocean Beach, where you take a stroll along the beach, sit and take in in the stunning views or enjoying a refreshing swim.

Conveniently located, a short drive or 10 minute walk to Tairua township which has numerous shops, including a grocery store that has everything you need. And if you don't feel like cooking, there is a wide range cafe's and restaurants and takeaway outlets to choose from.

When you feel like setting out to explore, venture a bit further, take a short scenic drive, and you'll find numerous other beach locations nearby along the coast.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Put all rubbish in the red bin located by the clothesline. Recycling also goes into the yellow bin (paper, cardboard, cans, plastics) and glass in the small green bin.

Clean the BBQ, and pizza oven if you have used it, turn off the tap on the gas bottle and cover the BBQ - this is not the Cleaner's responsibility / included in the cleaning fee.

Lock all doors and windows. Leave the keys on the lanyard on the kitchen bench, exit the front door and use the code lock to lock the front door. Close the gate as your drive out.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Preference will be given to guests who have a good references on Book A Bach, other on-line booking sites or who are able to provide references

No more than 6 guests staying overnight, no parties or loud music after 10pm (there are resident neighbours to consider).

Paradise by the beach

I cannot recommend this place enough! The house was absolutely beautiful and much bigger than the photos make it seem. Our family had a wonderful stay, the kids really enjoyed the spa pool and all the toys including beach toys (really appreciate this!). House was literally a minute walk to the beach. House was so well equipped (pantry staples, kayaks, kids toys, beach bags ect for guests to use), and owners were lovely to communicate with. The whole process was very easy. Thank you for such an amazing holiday in your beautiful house.

Your Holiday Home hosts, Kim & Steve, purchased this recently constructed Beach House in 2021 and in 2024 decided to open it for guests to stay and enjoy. Both seasoned travellers, we live in the Waikato region. Steve is originally from Northland and Kim from the Hawkes Bay, but their heart is in the beautiful coromandel and enjoying all the region has to offer.

Why they chose this property

We love this area and the township of Tairua. It's still has the feeling of being a quiet seaside village, but there is everything you could possibly need in the township nearby and there is so much to see and do if you want to set out and explore the area. A short walk away is the beautiful ocean and a walk along the beach is one of our favourite things to do. Venture further and there are bush and mountain walks. Tairua township has an array of cafe's, restaurants and the township with a wide variety of other shops. Tairua village is centrally located along the Coromandel coast, within a short drive, of other beaches and beautiful coastal villages including Pauanui, Hahei and Hot Water Beach. You can either choose to set out and explore or just stay, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet in the outdoor area and soak in the unobstructed views over the coastal reserve .

'Ocean Beach Oasis' is modern, beautifully appointed and specifically designed to be functional and comfortable holiday home. There are generously sized bedrooms, lounge, living and outdoor areas open up for indoor-outdoor living, alfresco dining or just relaxing and soaking in the views. Sitting on the deck you can soak in the views, often hear the sound of the sea and native birds in the trees. Comfortable and well-appointed, this holiday home is ideally designed and fitted out to suit either couples, a group of friends or a family stay. There are also a private spa pool, kayaks, BBQ, wood fired pizza oven and bikes that you can use, free of charge, during your stay. It's just a short stroll to the beach, a short drive to Tairua Township and so many places to explore and do nearby.
