This pet-friendly cottage was as advertised and the check in process was a breeze. Very clean, the cottage was also equipped with all the conveniences of home as well as a few luxuries (like games, a turntable and coffee bar) and some welcoming treats. The sunsets were stunning while having a paddle or sitting by the fire. Our dogs likewise enjoyed exploring and hanging out by the water. The hosts were super friendly, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend a stay if the features meet your requirements.
The cottage was my better than we expected. The owners answered all our questions quickly. No issues at all. To say the place was perfect is an under statement. 5 stars are not enough. Loved it would love to go back and spend more time. I can't say enough how fantastic our stay was. The bed was super comfy. They provide shampoo and conditioner and body wash all great too. Honestly just awesome 😎👍

About the host
Hosted by Clay Asa
We are from Guelph and our family loves being active outdoors on the hiking trails or going for a paddle! Our day trips up to the Bruce led us to this little cabin and we love sharing it with people as they explore one of the most beautiful regions in Ontario.
Why they chose this property
Boat Lake is such a tight knit community and it takes one glimpse at the sunset facing out over the lake from the cabin to know why this is such a special place!
What makes this property unique
We designed this little cabin from our motto "disconnect screens | reconnect serene". We think there are lots of people like us who get enough screen time in their day-to-day and want to escape to a serene oasis on the lake for a few days. Looking out at a beautiful Bruce Peninsula sunset on Boat Lake is an experience you will certainly remember!
