Unique and peaceful beach access getaway on Quadra Island

Staying at QCove Cottage by the Sea on Quadra Island is an amazing experience. The two story house is fully renovated and super cozy with modern amenities like Wifi, a well stocked kitchen, and a heat pump with a cooling system for summer.
A convenient layout with three bedrooms, two bedrooms with queen beds and one bedroom with two twin beds. Two bathrooms, one with a tub and shower and the second with toilet and a walk in shower.
The ocean views are simply breathtaking. You can watch grey whales, humpbacks and orcas right from the sitting room or the wrap around deck.
The wildlife is spectacular, with sea lions, otters, eagles and even blue herons and kingfishers. The dock is just a stone’s throw from the house, perfect for fishing or eco tours by boat.
Entering the house, you’ll enjoy the beautiful terraced gardens and rambling concrete steps leading down to the waterfront home. The steps down to the water are what makes this place special, if you’d like a hand with any bags we are only a text or call away.
The main floor has a comfortable living room with ocean views, a TV room as well as laundry facilities.
Upstairs the spacious master bedroom has an amazing view and a quiet reading area.
This place is perfect for vacations, reunions and retreats, best suited to children 12 and older.

Centrally located on Quadra, it’s walking distance or 5 minutes drive to the quaint shops and cafes. Be sure to plan for the seasonal Farmers Market Saturday mornings.

Quadra adventure

Property was clean, comfortable, looked good and everything worked well. All amenities were at hand. Host was friendly and available. Note there’s 85 stairs down to the home so you must be reasonably mobile. I recommend the place without reservation.

The location is idyllic. With marine and bird life at your door step, it was so serene. The owner is clear in listing that there are a lot of stairs. Take them at their word. Some of the cooking utensils and food prep stuff were a little rustic for my personal taste, but the dishware and flatware were great. We had an issue with the heat, one of the exchangers wasn't working and a handyman brought in an oil heater. Lots of cozy blankets supplied. Overall, still a spectacular place. Would suggest hosts hang a fake wasp net or wasp trap for those summer months. We weren't able to fully utilize the deck to eat meals.
