One of the oldest structures in the region, Dowling House is an 1830s Stagecoach Inn, turned farmhouse, turned Inn again! Updated with basic modern amenities and prepped for up to sixteen guests, Dowling House sits atop a hill overlooking the Napanee River Valley and Mohawk Bay on the Bay of Quinte on a one-acre property in the rolling fields and forests of the Lennox and Addington countryside. Enjoy a cozy cottage getaway with family and friends, build a campfire under the stars or get cozy by our fireplace, and make us your base to explore the region.

Guests will appreciate easy access to Prince Edward County, Sandbanks, local vineyards, and the cities of Napanee, Belleville, and Kingston. Only five minutes to Highway 401. We pride ourselves in being a clean, affordable option in cottage country : )

Perfect!

We stayed here before and after a wedding. Robert was great with his communication. The house was spacious, and so much beautiful charm to it! Highly recommend if you’re staying in Napanee!

Country Stopover

We needed a place to stay on the way to Kingston, ON. We spent a night at the property. There were 6 of us and our dog; we were comfortable and enjoyed the charming living room. We had dinner and breakfast in the kitchen. Everything was clean and worked well.
