Fantastic stay again at Baxter St. The property is beautifully presented and in a great location for the theatre. Second stay and will happily book again for 2027. Thank you
We had a great stay here with our daughter and dog. Lovely house with modern kitchen and bathroom. Great sized front and backyard. Good location to explore the town from. All very neat and clean.
Great house. Very spacious, renovated and clean. AC / heating throughout. Excellent location and proximity to cafes, the lake, the botanic gardens and CBD.
Liam and Holly have such a beautiful house. Extremely comfortable and we'll set up.It has everything you need for a great stay.Very contactable and helpful with any queries we had.Thank you so much!
Having been recently renovated, it was like staying in a new home, but with character. It was exceptionally clean. The bathroom looks new with an awesome large shower and instant hot water. Every room had air conditioning which was great as we stayed on a hot weekend. The garden is well maintained. We will stay here again for sure!!!!

Thank you for staying with us Wayne! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. We’d love to have you again sometime. Merry Christmas!
House was newly renovated and tidy. Good to provide toys for our toddler. However...
Backyard obviously not landscaped, and mudpatch 5mtrx4mtrs used as construction waste dump with nails, broken glass, sharp tin offcuts and other waste dangerous for our dog and toddler. Backyard became unusable due to dangers posed.
We were upfront to the pet friendly hosts about our clean and trained dog coming along, with his own bed. He joined us on our outside trips on trams, gardens and food adventures. We left the house in tidy condition, even washing towels, running the dishwasher, wiping down kitchen surfaces etc so the house was left as we found it. Unexpectedly, the host contacted us requesting additional cleaning fees, on top of the additional cleaning fee we paid at the beginning of our trip due to bringing a dog. The host also stated we damaged the property, which has been used as accommodation and was not caused by us. Upon arrival we noticed there were marks, dints, scratches and kids writing by previous occupants. The owner has tried to blame us and charge us for this. Very upsetting and disappointing when we looked after the property well and tidied before we left. The owner gives off scam vibes so do beware and take photos / walkthrough videos if you choose to stay here.
Pity such a good weekend in Bendigo has been soured by a host attempting to scam more money after we paid more than what was fair.

Hi David,
We’re sorry that you feel this way. As discussed, there was no additional cleaning fee charged, just our standard fee.
We appreciate you brought a bed for your dog but we were disappointed to find excessive dog hair all over the bed linen and furniture as well as scratch marks on the doors. This has resulted in additional cleaning, deodorising and repair to the doors at our expense. It is not unreasonable or a “scam” to request you cover this.
We were aware you were bringing a pet but you did not provide any further information. It’s large size and shedding nature probably weren’t appropriate for inside the home.
We did our best to accommodate you and your family, even purchasing a bed rail for your toddler to use.
We’re surprised you didn’t raise your concerns during your stay as we would have gladly addressed any dangers you felt were present in the vegetable patch.
Overall a very unpleasant experience hosting David and his dog. Would not recommend to other hosts.
