My family and I had an amazing time getting away celebrating my husband's birthday. The house and property was just as described in the listing. We enjoyed sitting outside under the stars. We're making plans to return in the fall.
We are 3 old widower Age 93, 88, and 80 who like to travel together and fish some. This cabin was just right. We had to figure out how to open the bed in living room, but we got it.We cooked most meals.Had everything we neededBeautiful area. The only problem for us old guys was the stairs, but we knew that before hand.
Overall, this property was good. It was clean, the bed I slept in was comfortable, and the a/c kept the cabin very cool even though it was almost 100 degrees outside. I also liked how every room had a television. We had some trouble with some fans/lights, but my only real complaint is the internet. It is extremely slow for remote workers.

We're glad you enjoyed the clean home, comfortable bed, effective A/C, and TVs in every room! We appreciate your feedback and wish you had reached out during your stay, as we would've been happy to help troubleshoot any issues with the lights or fans. The home relies on satellite WiFi, which can naturally experience slower speeds when multiple devices and streaming TVs are connected simultaneously. Thank you for taking the time to share your review and helping us improve future guest experiences.
We had a great stay here. My wife loved it so much that before we left we booked another stay with the kids! We loved that it was a short walk to the water for fishing! We also loved how quiet it is here. The property owner Will was very friendly, and easy to get ahold of. We’re excited to stay here again!!!
We loved everything about this trip, house was as described and we hope to go back. My boyfriend and I along with my sister and brother in law went down to watch a former classmate get married and enjoyed a couple days down there.

Peaceful Retreat
We had a wonderful getaway to Clayton. The cabin was amazing and had everything we needed to enjoy some rest, quiet, and peace. The area is great and secluded giving the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the woods, hills, and accommodations.
Check in via text with immediate response; digital door lock for quick access. Free WiFi, fully stocked kitchen, very clean home and property is very well maintained. Three minute walk to the lake, fire pit and charcoal grill in the yard with plenty of outdoor seating. Lots of space for the kids to run free. Photos depicted on VRBO are accurate.

Quiet and Peaceful
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was quiet, peaceful and secluded, a perfect getaway from the busyness of life for a few days. The cabin was exactly as described, spacious and comfortable. Loved all the windows that look out onto the property. It truly is a short walk to the lake on a well marked trail to a quiet little inlet. The hosts were prompt to respond to any questions. We have added the cabin to our list of favorites for some peace and quiet for potential future trips to the area.

Best family trip so far
We had an excellent stay! My wife wanted to make it longer, but it was already booked for the next weekend. The kids had an excellent time we played at the beach, went fishing kayaking, and just enjoyed nature. The amount of stars you can see at night is astounding! House is very clean, quiet and had everything we needed to make our trip the best family trip we’ve had so far! And with two adults and four kids, that’s a tall order. My wife is already talking about coming back! We will be staying here again. I wish there was a higher rating than five stars!

Beautiful house and location
We had a great time at this cabin! The place was clean and comfortable, with lots of space for our family of 6 to sleep, eat, and hang out. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the cooking essentials. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. Our kids and dogs loved the short walk to the lake and the huge yard to run around and explore. The owner, Will, was very responsive when we had a couple of questions about things! Sardis Lake is beautiful. They have a great, easy hiking trail on the NE side. The cabin is also just a short drive from the Talimena Drive where we enjoyed the views and a beautiful hike. We visited Talihina for some shopping and food, and also drove out to Robber's Cave and Wilburton one day. It's a beautiful part of Oklahoma, and we had a great time! Highly recommend a visit!
