Everything was great! Only thing was hearing the beeping of the plows at 2 am and no noise separation between the units could hear our neighbors conversation

Nice place to be around ski areas. Downtown was about 3 miles but overall. It was worth it. Would try again.

We love the pool/spa area for after a long day of skiing/snowboarding.
The cleanliness could be improved. The first one of us who took a shower found several long hairs still in the shower. Also, for a 4x person room would’ve appreciated regular sized silverware and not baby/kid forks.

I spent a solo weekend in Crested Butte and stayed at the Grand Lodge, and it was exactly what I needed. Days were spent snowboarding, and evenings were all about recovery — the hot tub was a game changer after long hours on the mountain.
The room was very clean and tastefully decorated, comfortable without feeling cluttered. It had that cozy mountain feel that makes it easy to unwind and recharge. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully set up.
One of the best parts of the trip was coming back from riding all day, relaxing in the hot tub, and just enjoying the quiet. Traveling solo, I appreciated how easy and comfortable the stay felt from start to finish.
If you’re planning a snowboard trip to Crested Butte and want a clean, relaxing place to stay with great amenities for post-mountain recovery, the Grand Lodge is a solid choice. I left feeling refreshed and already thinking about coming back.
Clean and very spacious room. Property was empty of staff. Communication was disconnected and awkward: lacked checkin details, there were no restaurants open on the mountain, building entry codes were not provided. Very different from past stays!
The hotel is comfortable but very lived in, the proximity to the lifts compensates for the wear and tear on the amenities. They brag about no resort fee but you definitely miss out on some valuable services. The hotel will not hold your bags before or after check in so we couldn’t ski the half day we had planned coming in or going out. They will also not store your skis on premises, our United made arrangements with the local shop in town but no one was 100% sure where so we ended up having to store the birds in the room, which is frowned upon by th hotel. The location was awesome but the slight changes have made us start looking at a different hotel next time.

Disliked: Cleanliness
I had to plunge the toilet myself a lot, there was a large stain on the carpet when we arrived which likely requires maintenance, the couch was ripped, I am not sure the bedding was very clean prior to arrival. The mirror maybe wasn't cleaned. We stayed four days, and we took the trash out ourselves to the outdoor trash. There is no a/c even though it is advertised which is fine with us, but it may not be fine for others. There are hidden fees as well so a good deal is actually not the case. Wifi often did not work so I used my phone. Contactless check-in and check-out was a pain. Fortunately, the renter texted us so when check-out froze I could let the person know. They also do not have early check-in. The people who helped us said we needed to reach out to someone at check-in, but there was no e-mail or phone number I could find. We like Crested Butte, but this place could be improved. Please do not false advertise and put the real price up front. The large room, kitchen, and Keurig were nice. I am glad someone texted us. We still like Crested Butte, but we would probably stay elsewhere.
