I had the best experience at Duane Street Hotel the Manager Ravi and Avinash were lovely and helpful. I liked the room, the location is perfect I’m definitely coming back. The room was great, liked the shower and housekeeping were nice. Very happy with my stay.

This spot is awesome for getting around, whether you're hopping on a train or a bus. Plus, you can totally walk around feeling safe and sound. The host was super friendly too, which always makes a difference. It's a great little find that makes exploring so easy. Definitely a place worth checking out.

Rebooked my room after attempting to reach out to the hotel numerous times on july 4th with the storms. Horrible horrible stay away, this is no longer Sonder it’s been taking over by a budget hotel. We saw cockroaches roaming the lobby so glad we didn’t end up staying.

Ravi was an excellent worker at the Sonder Tribeca facility. As soon as I arrived he helped me with a code to get in and even helped my door dash food deliverer find me to give me my food. The hotel was easy. Small but clean new sheets and new towels. Aircon was working. Water was good temperature. Location is honestly amazing. Close to trains or if you're good at walking close to Soho etc. I would stay here again. Thank you Ravid and sonders.

I frequently travel to New York. Other than this hotel being in a great location, the process of checking in, communication w the non available host, & lack of room service, makes it not worth booking. Business operations are below par. Additionally, pictures online versus in person seem to not match up. If you are looking for a cheaper option & just need a place to lay your head for a night, by all means, book this hotel. It’s a safe area.

A mediocre hostel for luxury hotel price. No desk agent, no housekeeping, no bar or restaurant as advertised, clogged drains, clogged toilet, moldy and slimy coffee maker, hair in the shower that was not ours, other people's clothing in our room, and complete apathy from the one person we saw who worked there. He wouldn't even get off his personal phone to speak with us. We felt like squatters.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Duane Street Hotel (formerly Sonder) in NYC. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. The staff (Ravi) were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help whenever I had a question. The location is one of the hotel's biggest advantages. It's very convenient for exploring the city, with subway stations, restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, and pharmacies all within a short walking distance. Everything I needed was nearby, which made my trip much easier. For improvement, I think adding a few more in-room amenities, such as a small microwave, would make the stay even better. Keep the common area clean and neat. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to New York.

Needed to call a phone number upon arrival and wait 30 minutes for a “code” to check in. Doors in hotel room don’t lock. This is an amateur show that should be avoided. Room was okay and it was cheap so if you’re okay with a crazy check in process and unlocked room then not the worst.

AC was broken, hair everywhere. in the bathroom and on the bedroom floor, stains on my pillow, bed is hard as a rock. Everything was horrible and when I tried to call the hotel when someone answers to tell them about my experience they are zero help. Don't recommend.

There are exactly zero people who work in the lobby - you'll get a digital code to dial into the building in your hotel room. That's all fine... Until your code stops working out of nowhere and you are locked out of both the hotel and your room in the rain and in a rush. There's a number to call if you are having an issue - but they utterly useless. Thanks for making me miss an extremely important meeting this morning!!!!
