Great experience with this hotel, got an upgrade when we check in. Also, we left a bag there, the staff contacted me within 30mins after we left and shipped the bag home for me! Will definitely stay here again when we visit Beijing next time!

The Sandalwood has become my home away from home while I’m in Beijing. It’s a great property conveniently located near major freeway while being very quiet in the evenings. The staff here is always ready to handle anything that you need taken care of. You won’t regret staying here.

Lovely stay at Marriott Sandalwood! The apartment was well equipped and even though we were about 20 minutes from the main sights, the quality of the apartment and the lovely staff made up for it many times over :) definitely highly recommend this property when in Beijing

Great STAY AT Beijing

It was great 3 nights stay at Marriott with very good service, stylish apartment and good breakfast. Best of all, our 2-bed booking was upgraded to 3-bedroom comfy and very spacious place with lots of closets. We loved the location and this place. If come back to Beijing with family, this is ghe place to book.

Had a good stay at the Sandalwood. Hotel a little tired in places but staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially the restaurant staff. Shame we were not advised on the need to have swim caps to use the pool!

What made our experience exceptional was the excellent service received from all staff starting at the reception (especially from Ms. Fiona, Ms. Nancy and Mr. Scott), the dedicated bell boys and cleaning staff, and the friendly staff in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was of high quality and has an extensive assortment of food items. The executive appartment and the hotel in general are very clean. I truly highly recommend this hotel and we will most certainly stay at this hotel in the future.

Home away from home

This hotel was beautiful with a wonderful staff. I felt very much at home the spacious apartment. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed the quiet nights and conveniences the property offered. We used taxis mostly to go downtown but finally started using the metro which was a 6 minute walk away to avoid the traffic.

We stayed at Marriott Sandalwood for 5 nights in a one bedroom apartment. The room is well equipped we specially appreciated the washer and dryer (albeit a little dusty). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is about 10 mins walk from a metro station on Line 1 and 10 mins cab away from Chaoyang Joy City a major mall with so many restaurants. An excellent choice of a hotel especially for families.

The place was very spacious and felt good. The front desk personnel's were very helpful and patient with us. They helped with setting an appointment in WeChat as we cannot read and write in Chinese. Definitely will come back

The stuff was extremely helpful, all spoke english. We booked 2 bedroom apartment for 10 days in total in June 2025. The rooms were spacious, with a separate storage/dressing room and 2x bathrooms. The furniture was in good condition even though a bit old style. Big appreciation to all stuff and thanks for making our stay wonderful. Regards,

This hotel is amazing. Just keep in mind that if you are participating in a city tour, this hotel is located on the 5th Ring Road. This means that they only offer free pick-ups at the 2nd Ring Road hotels. Other than that, the food, cleanliness, room, and staff were good
