Ive stayed at this property many times, its clean, quiet and next to the few black sand beaches with fishing and diving a short walk or drive away. Peaceful country retreat. Just stop by a grocery store and stock up and you'll enjoy your stay. Naalehu and Pahala is close by for gas and supplies. Enjoy your Stay...

Very nice property! From the looks of the surrounding area, it looks like the property used to be much larger, including a golf course. But the resort itself was first-rate for the price. The staff were an absolute joy, and we have a great stay.

We stayed at 3 different resorts/bnb's and this was our favorite! The location is great for exploring volcano NP and South Point. The one bedroom suite was so spacious with a large kitchen/living room, and comfortable beds. Just make sure to do your grocery shopping ahead of time as there are not many options nearby!

I absolutely loved everything about this property from check in to check out! The two beautiful women at the front desk were friendly, helpful and super nice and wonderful personalities!! The location with the views of the ocean are amazing along with the pool and hot tub. You have a 1 hour window to check in and if you miss it you have to be there at 8am the next morning. If you want an early start you need to wait until 8.

We stayed in a clean 1 bedroom suite with an amazing sea view! The rooms cooled down once the windows and doors were open and the fans were blowing. Keep in mind that the check-in process isn't typical. If you want A/C for your room or have any needs for on-site staff, you must check-in before the office closes at 5pm. (If you arrive after 5, you will get your room key using a lock box and won't have the option for A/C if that is important to you.) The property is well maintained and a few minutes drive to Punalu'u (Black Sands) Beach. It was a 36 minute drive to the ticket gate of Volcanoes Nat'l Park.
