Beautiful area in Canareggio. Much nicer and authentic than the other more turistic zones. As anywhere in Venice, rooms are small. Staff was very nice. Its quite a walk from the alilaguna ferry station so travel light or invest in a water taxi transfer to the campo santa Fosca, right at the hotel. My favorite part of the breakfast was sitting at the charming Campo (piazza) Santa Fosca. The hotel connects inside with hotel Tintoretto a sister property.

Beautiful canal view room. The family room easily fit our family of 4. Was a nice clean room with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Wish we would have used a porter from the train station because it was tough wheeling our luggage up and over the stairs of bridges on our way to the hotel. On arrival we took the public boat and it took about double the time than just walking like we did on our return. Hotel is in great location for cafes and good restaurants too.

The Hotel it is difficult to find, because it is nestled in between a restaurant. Better directions need to be provided. The elevator was broken and it was difficult to carry all the luggage to what they call the 2nd floor but really is more like the 3rd floor. I came home with a pull back, and I am fairly young. The room is spacious for European standards, clean and it does have an amazing view.
